Forget about resale values, I have worked for a few different car dealers and none of them would give book price for alfas because they know they wont sell and their trouble. Stick with a trusty (mostly)reliable VW My 2p -

Nice work mate, the car that wheel came out of had and old gear knob and handbrake handle and it always looked a bit odd...so I can understand why it makes such a difference. Any news on the engine swap yet?

No progress this weekend I went away for a few days, Ive done some more work on the bonnet,front wings and building up my drive shafts with new inner and outer CV jonts during the week though More progress pics and info soon -

Nice to see the MK2 getting some attention mate :) I was having the same thoughts about something sensible, but then I get over 40mpg out of the 8v on a run and its bloody good fun so its worth spending a bit extra than driving something boring.

I always use this guy...John Bellworthy,The Turbo Centre, 01332202100...not the cheapest but he knows his stuff and gives great customer service...hope that helps

If its a black and yellow single pin plug it does nothing, its for an oil pressure gauge that isnt fitted to UK spec cars
