As kev say's theres a white adjuster but you really need to get down to your local mot station who can adjust it correctly doing it yourself isn't really an option unless you have the equipment to set it right. Your local mot station will probably do it for a fiver for you and then at least it's set correctly just my 2p's worth

yeah hopefully it will be done just as the weather starts to turn warmish again :D The running in time will probably done in a day as I'll be driving it so much :D

Big mac I bought the side skirts from venom motorsport they cost £240 I personally wouldn't pay that again but they are genuine reiger ones which are ten times better to fit than the fibreglass copies out there, and the rear splitter is of an unkown brand to me, think it might possibly be kamei haven't seen them about that often I bought it from a a german guy that usually does all the shows like Inters and stuff like that you can always recognise him as he has glasses and his mrs is always stoned out of her brain :D He cocked up the conversion figures and instead of paying £40 for it he charged me £10 :D billy bargain me thinks :D

I've never had a problem jacking the engine up by the sump I always put a length of wood between the jack and the sump pan to even out the weight of the engine. You just have to undo the 15mm bolt I think it is on top of the mount and the 17mm main one underneath and there is also a 13mm hiding underneath a cable once they are undone you need to jack it up about 8-9" and slide it out to the left towards the supercharger can be tricky as the oil filter gets in the way if you have an external oil cooler but it does go easy enough job to do about 10 mins work :D

I haven't seen what the reaction is from HIC my insurance company yet but so far they have been great on all the other mods. My nitrous isn't going to be used on the road, only for track use and it's not illegal to have the stuff installed in your car only illegal if you use it on the road so basically there shouldn't be a problem with it being installed?? I dunno I'll have to see when it comes round to the time of re insuring it!

How much cr*p do you have in that room Got loads mate literally loads :D filled to the brim of odds and sods I ve collected over the last few years :D the latest stuff to find it's way into this room is the Ipaq bluetooth with tomtoms navigation and a bluetooth GPS reciever blinding stuff been playing with it all weekend :D Oh and the corbau targa seats will be arriving in the next few days as well :D I really want to get the car back on the road now!! had enough of driving the poxy astra it doesn't even have a cigarette lighter DOH

How does a G60 compare to a Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO
Banana Man replied to TajMan's topic in General Car Chat
Dont race the quarter mile LOL of course we do :D welcome to the forum by the way. Cant say that I ve ever been up against a 3000 gto over here but I know that when my G60 was standard it was pulling 1/4's in low 16's then when I chipped and pullied it and had a stg4 on the charger it pulled low 15's and then when I fitted a ported and flowed head and toothed belt drive it pulled a 14.7 sec 1/4 mile with a bit more tinkering I think I could have got it down lower but I didn't get many runs the last time I went up Santa Pod. Hopefully when the X-flow conversion is finished it will be in the mid 13's and should be good for 300bhp with a good map on the fuelling :D The torque in the 8v is excellent you wouldn't be dissapointed! :D -
is it a 16v by any chance as they are verycommonly known to have noisy tappets for the first few seconds ( shouldn't be minutes) though a new set of tappets are reletively cheap £6.50 each from Euro Car Parts and then an hours labour for fitting £150-160 max I would think by a garage that knows what they are doing

Sad news indeed!!! :(

Alex cant you get it trailored to the sprayers as once it's there they will be covered under there business insurance a local company will probably only charge £25 if it's fairly local to tow it be alot cheaper than trying to get a weeks insurance I am going to have my car sprayed at the begining of January as there's no engine in it Iwill have to trailor it or drive it fred flinstone style :D

The main elec window fuse is number 15 on the fuse panel (# 1 being nearest to the left) and there's also a fuse on top of the fuse box like jay says that will also make the electric windows not work as I have found out in the past I think it is a 15 amp fuse for both.
