You sure can mate! 8)
-
Haha! You know it makes sense mate!
-
I wish I had my cream parcel shelf in in that first photo actually :( I don't even listen to music in the car now my head units packed up so don't need the big 6x9's!
-
Cheers dude! Must be torture for you seeing how good the wheels look on my car
-
Went out with a mate last night to kill some time so we took some photos of my car again. Took loads but these are my favs. I have full res ones available should anyone want them 8)
-
Yeah I got the same reply, saying it's the same camera just different software or something and he said he'll send me an update for it :? I guess I'll just wait and see!
-
Yeah but you let your brake pads wear down to the metal and drive into kerbs, so I put that down to owner neglect  Seriously though, your roads are pretty horrendous, which is defo a damper killer! I was surprised by the amount of oil leaking out of your Weitecs tbh. It's seriously not helping your ride quality or handling! Get those pennies saved up for some new damper niceness :D  Fair point! The roads where I lived with my dad were the damper killers, really really glad I'm out of there now! Where I am now isn't half as bad so when I get some new ones they should last this time! Mine are fooked, the car is just never settled, very uncomfortable, crashy etc etc! I think I'll be saving for some Gazzers, was thinking of V1's but from what you've told me they're not great and plus they're only height adjustable, the Gazzers are damping adjustable too!
-
Here's the quick vid I made last night just driving up the road and back basically. It's upside down as mounted it so I could press the buttons etc. As you can see, the quality doesn't seem as good, it doesn't handle exposure as well and the sound is crap! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl9Vv2d6LUk

I'm doing well mate thanks :D I have been thinking about taking another road trip to Germany, my budget can't stretch to a big road trip like last time but a mini trip may be possible over the summer! Hope all is well with you! -

Awesome photos Torsten! Car is looking fantastic as always! :notworthy: I can vouch for how good this car looks in the metal after seeing it 2 years ago now, I miss Germany :( -
I ordered one of these, it arrived yesterday. I think I have a different one though  The date/time isn't in yellow it's in orange and when following the instructions to change the date the tag.txt method wasn't working, but timerset.txt did which to me says it's the #5 camera, although the #5 says it has white text?! The video quality should be the same, although I don't think it looks as good, but the sound quality is terrible, no sexy R32 engine noise for me, just distorted wind noise :( Anyone else found they have a different one? I bought it through the ebay link on the first link so assumed I'd get the same one.

To add my 2 pence, if you are wanting ride comfort don't go for the std Weitec coilover (Hicon GT's) as they are crashy, depends on the conditions of your local roads obviously, but mine are doing my head in now so i'm looking to change for some with adjustable damping so I can soften them, I'll also be going for softer spring rates! The TXs have adjustable damping so yeah they might be a better buy if just considering he V1's for the same money (only height adjustable and I've heard they are also crashy like the Weitecs I have). Also worth pointing out, my Weitec's are 3 years old and they are shot, the seals have let go and they are not rebuildable (not sure if the V1's are but I know the V3's definitely are!). That's just from normal every day driving, which shows that they're just not designed for our roads (german roads yes as they are smoooooooth). Like I said, just my 2 pence.
-
Yeah I thought the price was a bit strong too! I assumed mine would probs be worth £5k maybe but if that's anything to go by I'm thinking it might be worth more
-
Why doesn't mine sound that good  I would quite like to hear some other R32 conversions really as I don't think mine sounds all that R32-y, certainly not like that anyway.
-
Now thats good thinking batman Bye bye 2.8 24v [/quote:20bq68tk] Hmm, might have to make a trip to Stylehaus and have a look at this if it's still in there! 8)

That's one of the next jobs on my to-do list I think. Mine's definitely got play in the steering. I currently have mine on the lowest setting anyway as I think it feels tighter than on the higher setting (might just be me thinking that though, not sure) but I think somewhere in the middle would be ideal.

I've been really impressed with the KU31's on mine (put on by Kev before I bought his wheels). In the wet unless provoked they feel pretty good and in the dry I have no complaints at all really. The rears will need doing soon so I will be happy to go with 2 more.
-
I saw the VAG one when I went to the museum at Wolfsburg, thought it looked pretty good and the interior looked great!
-
Works with any management system mate. It tacks into the injector loom and alters the signal when slip is detected. Shame your Motronic can't talk to your ABS as ME7 has TC built in. Yeah 'tis a shame! So this could be put on my car then? Would be good for wet weather as mine just loves to spin, although to be fair the Kumhos on these Rotas do a cracking job in the wet unless provoked obviously!
-
Wow that's really impressive! Is this traction control designed to work with Motronic only or can it work for us R32 boys as well?
-
Ring Vince at Stealth as he got my converter from the states I believe! Unlucky about the wheel, I did the same thing the other weel just after putting my nice Rotas on, drove in to a fecking curb and I've buckled one :( so now need to order a single new one which I'm finding hard to get!
