Someone at work is selling an R-reg mondeo ghia v6 for an abosolute steel! it's got 83k on the clock but looks in good nick. Anyone know much about them?

The RS audi's are usually well tuned up! They add about another 150bhp to an S model and put some huge porsche brakes on them to turn them into an RS.

I think AMD remap then to 400bhp, should be mental!!!! Yeah I've had a ford, my first car was an XR2. I thought it was good till I bought my MK1

I thought they were around the 270bhp mark? And yep a mondeo. I'd like a bora turbo but haven't got the cash. You can get a nice mondy for about £1500 and I only go to work and the gym and back. Hence why the C is going

No this is not my C replacement, that's looking like it's gonna be a mondeo. A mate of mine is looking at the twin turbo S4. Just wondered if anyone had got any views on them? Thanks RACK

Thanks mate, I still love it too, but time has come to move on and I'm getting the feeling to get my own place. Hopefully it's gonna go to a good owner. I'll def have another G60 though!!!

I think it's someone like Badger5 who do the brembo kits. Also willwood do a 4pot conversion too

The biggest difference I noticed was how much better the car pulled through the gears! There's def a good power increase.

I can't remember if that bit moves or not. If not, then pull it through until the rubber bit is seated properly, then adjust the slack at the throttle body. Hope this sounds right, someone please correct me if I'm wrong

Get a scooby on a nice dry country lane mate,and there's not that much between a well driven G60 and one! I work with a lad with a Civic Type-R and he couldn't get near me! I'm really gonna miss all that low down pull if anyone ever buys my G60 LOL!!!

It always gets the crowd looking when belting up the small hill to leading upto the high house in rotherham town centre though! The first time I put it on I raced an rs turbo and i dipped the clutch revved it and shot off, his face was a picture!!!

Oh yeah! I've had that feeling too many times. It's all worth it though, when it's fixed and you boot it and hear the boost return wooshing!!!

Not sure, but if you give them a ring they usually have them in stock and I'm sure it's less than £40.

Due to my ever increasing luck, the wire that drives the electric window has snapped! I have a spare motor, but need to know if there's an easy way to change it. Or do all the rivets need to be taken out, and the new motor swapping over?? Thanks RACK

My guess is the throttle cable is sticking mate, mine used to do it all the time. It's a quick and cheap job.

Check the ribbon between the face plate and the head unit, it might be broke.

Would be interesting to see what kind of power a tuned version would put out. The charger is kicking out 1.8bar as standard, sweet!
