Cheers Darren, with the money I'm gonna be spending on the engine at the min I can afford to wait just a bit longer  Thanks for the advice peeps!

I've had my G60 for just over 2 years now, I got it when I was the tender age of 20, and yes the insurance was and still is stupid  I've had my share of probs with it, and even cosidered selling it a one bit to buy a Subaru :? (I'l just wash my mouth out)! But after having a good think and having to shell out 1.5K for a new charger (the top bearing dropped out and I needed a new casing aswell as a rebuild), I decided to make a proper go of it. Here's the spec list and some pics Engine; Gas flowed/ported charger, JabbaSport 68mm pulley and chip, check valve, Jetex induction kit with heat shield, Power flow stainless system exhaust. Full boge shocks and springs Zimmerman Drilled disc with Padgid fast road pads 16'' 5 spokes with BF Goodrige all round VR6 Bonnet, Later Spec Grill and a Shiney C bagde beacuse some kind person stole my white one  I'm planning a full engine re-build with a Kent cam and gas flowed head in the next month or so, and a front mounted intercooler. Also like bigger wheels and a different exhaust (not sure about the tail pipe on mine, my cousin had it done before I bought it off him) Oh and I had to get rid of the G60 chin spoiler because it used to nearly rip my bumper off when I put it in my garage!!! Hope you all like???

I've got the plate. Hopefully my mate who does the work on it will be able to figure it out, but I just needed some advice so I could give him a head start. Thanks

I've just got an Oil Cooler kit form TSR and wondered if any one had any tips or ideas on fitting. Yes I know I should have looked into it but it was one of those ''That sounds good'' impulse buying moments  The main thing is, what do I do with the heat exchanger that's fitted as standard, and will it get in the way if I fit that huge front intercooler I'm begging for (please Darren  ) Cheers people

I'm having the same problem with my sils  At the moment they're the only thing letting it down but for that price I'm getting a pair!!

I was thinking about getting a charge cooler but they can get very expensive and with my luck it's just something else to go wrong!!! (VW's don't you just luv em?) At least with the Intercooler swap there's not that much can go wrong. Famous last words eh??

Cheers mate. I've just tried emailing off the pd motorsport site but my computer is having none of it!  I think I've got it somewhere so I'll send a mail asap.

I've just seen some pics of that AWESOME IC 8) Darren has put on his C. I need one, but how do I get it. Do you sell it as a kit or do you have to fit it, or is it a one off that your keeping exclusive  ! I'd be really interested in getting one and would even drive down for the work, I live near sheffield, so it would be a long haul! But looking at the pics it would be petrol money well spent! Any feed back would do nicely. Cheers

Cheers mate I'll give them a ring. I've got an oil cooler laying on my bedroom floor, which will be going on as soon as!

Morning peeps! I'm in a pickle. I'm in the process of getting my G60 engine re-built. Getting the top end sorted was the easy part, full recon polished and ported and a kent cam, with all new valve guide and liters for $620 (i know it says dollars but my computer doesn't want to put a pound sign  ). The problem is trying to find a good set of pistons and all the rest of the stuff to make a good strong bottom end? Anyone got any ideas?? I got the charger rebuilt and gas flowed last year so touch wood that's fine. It's running 68mm pulley and chip, full SS exhaust, Jetex induction kit, and a check valve. Cheers people!

Cheersfor the help people. It did turn out to be that metal plate behind the brake disc. It just took a little gentle beating to bend back and hay presto job done! :D

Im getting a really bad grinding noise from the near side wheel when I'm driving, it sounds like two metal plates being scraped together, but the strange thing is, it seems to stop when I turn left??? :?: :? :? Anyone got any ideas???

I've got a white G60. I've also heard people say they don't like the colour but I think it looks top! I've only ever seen one other white one and that was a VR6. I know it might not be the most sort after colour but I think when it's got a good layer of polish on it it's up there with the best!

Seen as you've crucified me now for making my mistake. Is there anything on the forum about fitting a boost guage so that I can avoid a possible public linching again by getting a true boost reading  I've only been a member for a couple of days. P.S. Once again thanks John at P.D. Motorsport for the bottom radiator hose. The cheque should be with you shortly. -

Ok then people must be my mistake  I ment to put 1 bar but my finger slipped and I've only just been able to log back on. JBS are a VW company in Chesterfield and are a top set of blokes. They helped me out with my charger when i couldn't get one from anywhere. I think they're stage 5 is about the same as a uprated Jabba one. It's all gasflowed and internally ported. Once again I'm saying sorry sheepishly. But atleast you had something to talk about :D -

Just after having my charger rebuilt to a JBS Stage 5 spec, I ran it in and then took it back up and had it boost checked. I got told it was pulling nearly 2bar in third gear  . I've got a 68mm pulley on it? Plus anyone got any ideas how and where's best to fit a boost guage just so I can keep tabs on me G-Lader??
