I thought about altering the boost linkage, but got told to leave well alone, by a few people. You might have to use the "suck it and see" approach mate. I think the linkage is set, so that the boost butterfly closes just before WOT.

I was at the tesco petrol station, accross from the brecks, in rotherham, last sunday and there was a Dragon Green G60 there with Brembos on the front and what sounded like a BBM charger under the bonnet? Anyone on here???

A dump valve on a G60 sounds like a wet fart, due to it dumping oil as well as boost. Give G-man a PM and ask for a boost return kit. It's mainly to stop turbulance in the charger, but you get a good "woooosh" noise with it too!!!

I'm always talking to Ant and Darren, (prob both well fed up of me by now LOL). I just wanted some more views on both heads.

At the min I've got a ca,,ed up rallye head re-built ready to put on, when the engine eventually gets re-built, but I thought I'd ask, Which one is better, a Eurospec Head or a X-flow head?? Due to me wanting to tune the car further when the engine is run in. Cheers RACK

I wouldn't have another clifford thrown at me!! My concept 300 is safely ripped out and still in my boot! The downside is that the clifford has more options. The upside is that the toad works!

It's wrong you can't have a nice car without being constantly worried about it. I wont leave mine anywhere and I'm getting worse! I live in a smallish town. When I had my mk1 I caught a young scrote trying to steal my dust caps so I clipped him. 5 mins later his dad was knocking on my door saying if I touched his son again he'd kill me. I kept calm explained his son was a light fingered scamp and he said I shouldn't worry about dust caps!!! 10 mins and an argument later the bloke and his son limped home, funnily enough none of my dust caps have gone missing since. It seems the only thing these ignorant people understand is violence

I've got to stick with it! I've had it for so long and need to finish it. I was just on one last night. My brother and all my mate's were out watching the footy and planning a day sesh on saturday while I'm planning to stay in with the GF (not a totally bad thing) and save money for the engine. I'm sure the C sits in the garage at night laughing at me!!! Corradowales, the fan works but I have no heat, Henny says it could be one of the valve that may have failed. I just haven't got the time or cash to get it fixed at the min.

I'm starting to lose faith in my C :cry: Lately all the work I'm wanting to get done has come to a stand still and really pi$$in me off! My front engine mount is saggier than a witch's tit (I've got a solid one on my window sill), my engine is beggin for the G-Werks forged pistons to be put in, I've still got loads of new stuff to buy for the engine too inc red tops, 3.5fpr, sns chip and ligthening&balancing (daz hopefully I'll be calling you soon bout all this), I've got a clutch slippier than an eel bathed in KY (also got this waiting to in), I need to get it sprayed, my heater is still not working and now a nice grinding noise comes from the passenger side when ever I'm doing over 40 and turn the steering to the right??? I'm waiting for my mate to get time to do it all, I can't really have a go at him, cos he always helps me out, never charges the earth and constantly has 3 cars on his drive. I'm just getting fed up of waiting!! Only good thing happening at the min is, getting a spare rallye head I bought re-built and putting a 268 cam in ready for when the bottom end is built. Plus I've been thinking bout buying a MK2 shell and swapping all my bits over, what's wrong with me???!!! Anyway my rant is now over and the steam has stopped whistling from my ears. Has anyone re-moved the wedge from the small butterfly in the throttle body? Just wondered what the pro's and con's would be?? Cheers RACK

The parts from PSD/G-Werks are origianl or better. Plus, another thumbs up for Darren, he's got to be pist off with me by now, always ringing, but still answers the phone and has a conversation.

True mate, I've just had a rummage round and got some higher finish micron pads. It looks like I might just chrome it, how much does it usually cost?

That's what I was thinking. I could probably order some laquer from work, but not sure what temp it would withstand??? Hopefully I can figure something out, to keep me busy during my lunch break.
