How is the G-Lader gonna handle 8700rpm??? Big Pulley? -
I sold my jabba induction kit for about £70. Put it on ebay mate. Next time you're gonna be in rotherham mate, just give me a heads up and I'll take you for a spin.

Just had a quick look at the tech spec of the engine!! That's some serious work! Just how much work, money and time would it take to do that to a 1.8T?? -
G60Greeny, Mine is about the same spec as yours but with a g-werks charger. I found the difference quite noticable. If I see you round rotherham, I'll take you for a quick spin, you can also see how much better it pulls with a Golf IC. Also, get rid of the Jabba Induction kit, if anything it ruins performance due to the filter getting heat soaked. The heat shield doesn't help that much, I looked into making a kit so you could mount the filter in the wing where the Carbon Canister fits, I got as far as making the brackets for it to sit on and conected it up, but due to work had to give it up, although it's a pretty simple thing to do. I thought that this would be a lot better as there would be not engine heat getting to it at all.

I wasted a Mk4 1.8T the other day. He pulled up along side and went for it, he heard the boost return, then he looked shocked as I popped the C in 3rd and booted it!! No Mk5's will play yet

Can anyone guess what's wrong in this pic? Updated 21/09/05

I'm now glad, I sold my Jabba Induction kit! -
I agree with Bally I know where there's a good Corrado G60 for sale LOL!!!!
-
I hated my G60 before the chip&pulley were fitted. Before it felt slower than my Mk1 and I just got mad everytime I booted it, once the pulley was on I never looked back.
-
Welcome to the forum. Mine's for sale and tidy (self pimppin' I know) Where abouts are you mate?
-
Check the bearing and hub. Mine did this and after a couple of days (I had to wait till I got paid) the drive shaft bolt shot off!!
-
I would have thought that, with the longer 2nd gear, when you change up to 3rd you'd be higher in the power band, so it would be quicker???
-
It's the gearbox that kills the 0-60 in a G60, you can have as mush power as you like, but the 0-60 will always suffer unless you put in a VR6 1st and 2nd in.
-
I had a go with my mates G-Force the other day. Only managed a 7.7 though due to traffic!! And you're right Golf FMIC makes all the difference!!
-
I think an oil cooler should be one of the first mods done to a g60, it's cheap enough and makes things a bit safer. Mine usually stays around 96, and after a good thrashing goes to about 106-108. But after about 5 mins of cruising it's back down.

No probs neil, told you it was as new condition LOL Nice to do business mate

why am in not feeling better about it all yet??

I know what you mean on the women front, it's hard to find a nice one who isn't out for everything you've got. I split with my girlfriend of 7and half years 4 months ago. Hard at first but well happy now, it's actually made me a better person. Miss the company sometimes but hey... As for the car front, it's a fine line between dedicatation and stupidity. I think the amount of money you spend on it defines this LOL!!!!! -

Wish I had your dedication mate!!! I'm still thinking about selling mine for next to nothing just so I can pay some debts off! -
Got to be a last of the line 993 Turbo that had been breathed on by techart!
-
Donny town on a friday is just as Greeny describes, there's more neon on the tarmac then inside trilogy! The tunes are better inside trilogy though!! And the women! Rotherham town is the same, they all sit at the top of town blingged and burberryed up, sipping cans of super strength!!! That fiesta looks nearly the same as a lads who parks on my street, he too got wasted, although I let him think he had a chance first. Oh the chav, what would we do without them.

I think i remember you now mate, did you used to have a white polo coupe? The golf IC set up might seem expensive at £500, but the beauty of it, is that it fits (just about) perfect.
-
Not too hard. If you want to get rid of the original oil cooler you need to get some pipes from a Mk1 GTi, but if you want to keep it on, you just find a place to mount it, (I used to have mine in front of the radiator, But had to swap it when the IC went on), unscrew the oil filter, screw the new thread in, connect the pipes and your done. If I've missed anything thing out someone please correct me. You can still use the G60 oil filter but it's a right pain to get back on, so I use a G40 now, it's smaller but uses the same non-return valve.

Were you the kid I belted up to morrissons with and slid it down the dual carridge way? How's it going mate? It's a bit quicker now, I'll have to keep my eyes open for you. Give Darren a ring @ G-Werks bout the cooler, it's not too dear and is worth every penny.
-
Heyup mate, where bouts in rotherham are you from? Got a huge intercooler on it, the difference is un-real. I've got a Golf G60 one on mine and it seems to pull a lot harder at the top end. First thing though is get yourself an oil cooler. This will keep the oil temp nice and down.

Take him to the bar that Jodie Foster went to in "The Accused" and let him play the pinball. Seriously though mate, get the cops involved. If they want nothing to do with it, then just sort him out the old way! What a w@nker

Although it would have more effect if you got it the wrong way round!
