17526-02 heater circuit (bank 1-sns 2) open circuit (P1118) Bank 1 sensor 2 resistance too high (P1114) are you running two lambda sensors pre and post kat (if fitted)? sensor 2 is post kat (after) if its not fitted the ecu's looking for it and thats why the codes are coming up 17705-turbo/throttle valveconnection pressure loss (P1297) air leak as posted clear the code and recheck 17841-Secondary air pump relay J299 open circuit 17840-secondary air control valve N112 P1432 this pumps air into the intake to lower the exhaust emmissions when the engine is cold and i've never see it fitted to a 1.8t change the maf, check the spark plugs are all good, check the wiring on the coil packs, swap the coil pack on number 1 with number 2 clear all the codes, take for a good test drive and then recheck the codes, if missfire on number 2 pops up change all 4 coil packs if ones going there all going

How very helpfull   ok take the intake pipe off and spray a small amount of wd40 into the inlet manafold then try and start it or turn the key so the golw plug lamp comes on and go's off, then turn the key back with out trying to start it, then turn the key back again light on and off, do this 3 or 4 times then try starting and if all fails i'll still take it off you
-
i'll have it if your scraping it
-
STRETCH=use once only we have had around 8 or 9 vag cars come into work where the belts been changed elsewhere with out replacing the bolts and then bolts have snaped and the engine drops
-
make sure the engine mount bolts are replaced as well as there stretch bolts
-
good cars them bmw's shame the injector looms burn out,the injectors burn out, the fuel pumps burn out, the rear beam bushes split, rear springs snap, rear brake pipes rot, door handles snap just like the raddo's,engine temp senders over read making the cooling fan stay on so you come back to a flat battery, water pump inpellers fall off (just like the vw's do)
-
do you think this turbo will fit on a 1.8t? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag4nLpu1nJ0
-
find out if the water pump was changed with the cambelt and if you want more power get it remaped don't buy a tuning box as they can blow turbos and bend the con rods
-
check the colour of the temp sender (end of the head on the gearbox end) if its black change it for the new green one, also check the vac pipes on the inlet manafold theres two or three with 'u' bends that split and give maf and lambda fault codes also try unpluging the maf and give the car a run see it it any better if it is your maf they are £75 exchange from euro's or gsf and are the same bosch ones that vw sell
-
change the crank bolt and washer if your still running the standard one http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23101

RS2's are around £10k now or you can get an S2 and tweek it to 400 to 500bhp for the same
-
wait for the golf R36 or the audi RS3
-
i'am thinking of getting G6 PEE
-
check the firing order number one on the cap is at the back close to the block number one on the engine is the cambelt end then clockwise round the cap 3 4 2
-
will this bolt snap if its never been undone before or is if you/someone reuses the old one it snaps? as being a strech bolt it will need replacing once undone anyway
-
have all 3 gone in the same place? is the engine running hot all the time? has the head been pressure tested?
-
got a few bits in the post from darren at g'werks :D shame the postman still has my charger  finshed off the rear brakes and bushes, welded up the hole under the battery and fitted new engine mounts
-
