I'm always on the lookut for a C in films of the given era 89-95, not spotted one yet tho.

Maybe a daft question, BUT, how detrimental would it be to fit 195/50/15's on the VR? Considering they should have 205's fitted. Obviously only 10mm difference in width on each tyre, but the prices seem quite a bit different between the 2 sizes. Anyone else done this already? Cheers Matt

Strangely not! The last treat she had was the Audioscape/amp/components she was treated to last month... Ungrateful cow!!
-
Right, she failed. ABS light decided to stay lit, for the 1st time in about a month. :( So spent last night cleaning the 4 wheel speed sensors, and hey presto, the light stays out now. This morning, dropped it to my old dears, who took it for the retest at 2pm today, and she's flown through!! :D 8) Well chuffed as I've got to use her to travel up north for my mates wedding on Thursday. Got quite a list of advisories to work through, but all in all I'm really pleased! Cheers, Matt

Keep everything crossed for me chaps, she's booked in for 1430.... Here's hoping... :D

Good to see you back. You're old C is still one of my all time favourites, looking forward to seeing what you do with this one!

Adjust the angle of the alternator to take up the slack on the belt. That ought to stop the squealing, and turn your PAS pump??

What a complete moron.

I just fitted a set of MB Quart Discus series 6.5" components into Audioscape pods, tweeters mounted in the stock dash position. They sound rather nice indeed. :D Amped from the boot, 4ch Alpine bridged into 2ch at 120w rms per ch @ 4ohms. Used some "Skins" deadening about a week after the install and the difference the deadening makes is amazing. Should've done it when the doorcards came off to fit the pods but thought i'd get away without it. I wouldn't recommend fitting any kind of upgrade to the sound before deadening the doors. Really wouldn't bother with the 'pods if your not gonna externally amplify, and think about sound deadening. HTH

All late valvers were 2.0 :dorky: Thought you of all people would know that Kev??  No more than 2k IMO
-
Physically they'll fit, but the spring rates for the VR (Golf or Corrado) are higher/stiffer to compensate for the extra weight of the VR lump. So in short, no, they're no good for a VR.

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...
mattnorgrove replied to Jim's topic in General Car Chat
Finally cleaned her inside following my Audioscape/Amp fit last month. Now she sounds AND looks beautiful inside. This weekend, hopefully attack the outside, weather permitting. -
They've been available for years dude. Welcome to the Forum though! :D

Option 4: Get a doorhandle repair kit from daves16v on here, apparently they're fit and forget, never break. Gotta be the cheapest option. Have a look here: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=16145&start=405

Have a search for "+wiper +linkage", there's an old thread on here somewhere, with the part numbers you need for the stealer. HTH

Ha!! :D

Not just you Kev, i though it looked cool on it's original rims too. And the 300ZX?! :luvlove: Always wanted one of those at around the same time as falling in love with the Corrado. Can't believe how cheap they are now?!

I am complaining, it's too hot for England! My horse gets tired too quick. Random I know but true!
-
I say sod the inconvenience of not having aircon. It makes a nice change to actually be warm in the UK. I for one am not complaining....
-
Glad to hear your charger hadn't died mate! Sorry but yet another no from me for thode rims. E30 BBS FTW

Yeah I've bought from him on eBay before too, always good service. And fair dues to the guy in the MK2, good to know there's still decent people about.
