Hi mate, have a search, this has been covered to death many times. There is a thread showing the complete stripdown/regrease/rebuild procedure. It may even be in the knowledge base. Don't think its as easy as a can of WD i'm afraid... Hope this helps. :D EDIT: Beat me to it Matt. :D

Taking mine on a nice round trip to Bedford and back! Really should be fitting the Audioscape, MB Quart, and Alpine amp, but it's all coming second place to a certain ladyfriend... :norty:

Another sign of the increasingly worrying times. Not a mention for the humble Corrado in that article either I notice.

Have a look at the buying guide in the Knowledge Base, there's some good info in there that should help.

Glad it went ok mate. Sounds almost too simple! :D

Tell us more, or do I HAVE to get 205 width for the VR?

Your 1.8 16v will definitely not have a CAT mate.

weird vibration coming through to clutch peddle...
mattnorgrove replied to -Neil-'s topic in Engine Bay
Might be ABS related? Try starting the car with your foot on the brake pedal, see if you feel it any stronger. Think I remember reading that was part of the ABS startup procedure. But I'm probably wrong... Sure someone more technical will be along shortly to advise... :D -
Good work mate! I'm too nervous about doing this on the VR, tried it on my 1st C and pulled a shitload of paint off, think I used too much heat! Ended up sticking them back on. Nice rims BTW. 8)

Sods law mate! You sure you didn't disturb something when you were fitting the loom for the seats? Good luck sorting it out!

Hi mate, if you send a PM to Andy665, he may be able to advise you. He recently arranged/helped to arrange the sale of a G60 to a girl from Germany, so may be able to give you a few pointers. Hope this helps,

Conolly leather is a new one on me mate, never heard it mentioned regarding Corrado interiors.

Saw the 1st advert for the new season on BBC1 last night, was really pleased, till I realised i'm in Egypt for a week from the 26th, so I'll miss the 1st race! :( Could be worse though I suppose. Thank god for Sky+! Come on Lewis! Back to back championships needed to really prove yourself. BOOO Massa!

Think Mat meant Thermostat. :D

Which coilovers do you use on your really bumpy local roads?
mattnorgrove replied to Leonard's topic in Drivetrain
I am currently pondering the same dilemma, really want to get rid of the agricultural ride height, but really don't want to lose all the comfort that a standard setup offers. Instead of coilovers (I'm not bothered about adjusting the ride height), what would a comfortable shock/spring combo be? Heard the PI springs are a little more forgiving than the Eibach, but opinions vary wildly. What I'm after is just a sensible 40mm rear, 30mm front drop (too many speedhumps in my area to go lower), and stay on 15's (maybe 16's). There must be a suitable shock/spring setup that could deliver the required drop, but retain all the comfort? Decisions decisions! :D -
Bloody hell! Didn't expect that! :(

PMSL! No problem mate.

Just had a look at mine for you mate (95 VR). Say Pin 1 is nearest the windscreen, and Pin 4 nearest the slam panel: Pin 1: Brown/Yellow Pin 2: Brown /Blue Pin 3: Red/Blue Pin 4: Red Hope this helps. Cheers, Matt.

Thanks to Zak for the loom, quality piece of manufacturing! Also thanks for meeting up and saving me paying the postage. Did you make it back home as swiftly? LOL

StormchargedVR6 used the fog positions as air inlets on his VRT. Have a look at his members gallery mate, might give you a better idea of how they look. Unsure myself, I think the bumper looks a little incomplete without the fogs.

Welcome to the (MK3) forum! :D Read the thread title and was gonna say "use the search", but in all honesty, I don't think anyone, in the whole history of VW, has ever asked that! Cracking first post! 8) (oh, and no I don't think it would) :|

Cheers for the part numbers and help chaps. I guess thats another for the to do list!

Found the problem this evenin, it was the adjustment nut on the top of the box itself. Tightened back up, hey presto! Which means I can still make it to UD on Sunday!

Heater fan only working on 4 is the thermal resistor on the blower motor. There's a guide in the knowledge base showing how to replace it. Cheers.
