Bonjour! :D Welcome to The Forum! Looks like a nice VR you have. Where in France are you from?
-
Nice results mate, got a pot of the 476s on it's way...
-
will do mate, hopefully have an update after this weekend...
-
Hoping all my kits arrived by this weekend, spent about £130 on cleaning kit in tha last 2 days, so hoping the sodding weather holds out! Will post up some results of the clay, maybe try and get a video captured...
-
That looks cracking Rob, the white suits the blackberry very well. 8)

I've been apprehensive in the past, but have invested in the Megs starter kit, so i'm gonna attack mine soon. Have a look on Youtube Jim, there are plenty of how-to vids, from the guys at Megs. Looks a piece of p1ss to be honest, and the results look (and sound) amazing. When the guy ran his hand across the panel you could actually HEAR the difference on the section he had clayed over the section he hadn't, and the muck left on the clay was astonishing. Another couple of passes and the panel (and the clay) were completely clean, and silent when he ran his hand across the paint. 8) Plenty of lube from the detailing spray, and very little pressure on the clay seems to be the way forward...

+1, done about 500 miles on mine now, and cannot fault them one bit. KU31's all the way (if you can find em  ) -
No worries mate.

EH?! :D

Upgrading the front door pods to Audioscape pods is probably the best way to go, install a decent set of components, amp them up, and job done. The 5.25" factory speakers really aren't large enough to support a decent bass response. Have a search for Audioscape on here for some ideas...

:| Where's Mr Beige?! :D

Have a look in the Wiki mate, there's a full "how to" in there...
-
Looks great doesn't it?! I really want to get to a show with that many C's to look at.

 :cuckoo: :epicfail:  :pukeright: :gag:

The VR looks very nice indeed, it'll be even better with that Rotrex fitted! Mine has recently started doing this too, very annoying, sounds like a plasticky screeching. Gonna have to have the cowling off and have a look i reckon. The steering wheel nut is 24mm I think??
-
Don't know if it'll be any good on the glass fogs mate, think it's only good for plastics? Might be worth a try though...
-
Looking good mate! 8) Good work on the conversion, doesn't look a small job!!
-
Cheers mate, yeah I remember that! You still local? Had a look at your build thread earlier, liking the work you've done on your current motor, good skills!! 8) The PlastX stuff is pretty much T-Cut for plastics I reckon. Rub it on, let it dry, buff it off, really good results though, you couldn't see through mine before, this stuff makes them really crystal clear again. Read good things about it on here, so picked some up off Ebay. Good for the rears too!!
-
Fitted new fogs the weekend, finished the front end off nicely I think... Cleaned up the indicators with some Meguiars PlastX, would recommend it, very good results from minimal work.
-
Congrats on the purchase! Look forward to seeing it on the compo's.

Welcome along! Not many Lithuanians on here, you might be the only one in fact. :D -
I*d forgotten about Flux until today, i did have a policy with them year before last but HIC beat their renewal. Will give them a ring tomorrow and see what they say. i really hate all this ringing around, its repetitive aaaaaargh! Flux won't quote you if HIC did, they are the same company[/quote:1fjkj4u2] HIC are just brokers mate, I'm with them but actually insured with Jubilee Insurance. No reason why Flux won't give a different quote, if they're both brokers then all they're doing effectively is ringing round a host of insurers for you, to get the best price.
