  1. why u got too many points on the licence your something ?
  2. Sounds about right, i think the changes came in in late '92 which would be about the time ABS was introduced
  3. I'll take one if you got any left - PM me your paypal details if you have,cheers..
  4. Cheers for the info Kev,interesting reading - i'm going to stick with Fast Road pads all round i think..keep it simple
  5. Ah i see - excellent thanks for that ! FR5075's it is then seeing as i have a 1996 C (registered not made obviously) Thanks Again :)
  6. Already have & the Corrado Club GB - cheers anyways..liking the picture of your C BTW - those wheels/rear lights really suit a white C
  7. I'm a little confused trying to find the correct Fast Road Pagid pads for my rear brakes.. it seems there were 2 differing sizes of brakes supplied as standard for the VR6 depending on the age of the car. Pagid offer 2 Fast Road pads for the rears on a VR6 : FR5022 (15.22mm) & FR5075 (17.22mm) i assume i need the FR5075's ? Cheers..
  8. What colour are Fast Road pads ?..whats the difference between the blue, black or grey ? Cheers..
  9. ferrari's have 2 calipers on the rear wheel too.[/quote:199e9] Yeah man - the smaller non laquered ones for the Handbrake..my mates brother's got a 360 modena, lucky bastard..
  10. You should not need any more than 5mm spacers to clear the coilovers. i would buy 4 to keep the track of the car the same front & back...
  11. Yeah after having a look your right they do use the same size springs - anyone want to buy a set of 4 5mm H&R spacers ??? :(
  12. Also thinking about it the rear springs on the Bilsteins may be wider in diameter then the H&R coilovers...
  13. Not sure yet as i havent put them on ! what i do know is that the standard speedlines rub slightly & using the wheel offset calculator it works out 1mm less clearance,so i'm assuming they're going to rub also. that is strange because using the guide on your wheel size/offset it calculates 5mm less clearance - maybe it's the inside tyre wall rubbing & because the profile is lower on 7.5x17's you can get away with it ???
  14. It's hard to say..depends on your individual setup really,or what you plan to do to the car.. i went for 4 x 5mm H&R DR's,but i've got a set of RS301's 7.5x17 ET33 going on the car fairly soon so i really don't want large spacers - just enough to clear the coilovers (a 7.5" wheel @ ET33 has 1mm less clearance than the standard 6.5" wheels @ ET43,so i still have 4mm extra clearance from standard which should be fine as the inner edge of the speedlines are only just catching the coilover springs) if your keeping the wheels standard or not putting wide wheels/low offset on then you would almost certainly be fine with the 8mm spacers, otherwise stick to the 5mm ones. i'm sure there are people on here who can elaborate further on what i've just said...
  15. Yeah that's exactly it..i've had the same thing with Bilstein coilovers, now fixed using some erm 5mm H&R spacers give these guys a shout - gwerks.co.uk i found them to be the cheapest in the UK i got a friend who has H&R coilovers on his 2.016v Corrado & he has exactly the same problem too..
  16. Hmmmm its not that light I really want sub 18lb if I can get them. My sisters Evo has 18's that are bomb proof and only weigh 19lb. Why can't the Germans make light rims like the Japs! Matt :) Absolutlely love the MO's..but would have to be a 8x16 like you said - thing is Compomotive don't make 5 spoke MO's in a 16 anymore otherwise i'd have a set ! BTW a 8x16 MO weighs around 20.9Ibs obviously depending on what offset you go for..
  17. a set sold on UK ebay this morning for £80. gutted i missed them by 10mins. Ah ha unlucky dude - i'm just hoping the centres are sound & refurbable but for £79.77 it was worth the risk :)
  18. Me too..big time - i reckon if your going for weight saving then wings & bonnet are the way forward, particuarly with most of the weight being up front on a C..that bonnet weighs shit loads !
  19. Climb in through the window
  20. Yeah if you could that would be great..i've checked eBay.de quite often but never seen genuine BBS dishes (not that i'm aware of anyway). i hear good things about Compomotive/Schmidt too - i think Schmidt dishes are made by Compomotive..but it would be better to keep it all BBS really..
  21. Nice ! - i take it you kept the fronts 7.5" due to clearance issues ? where you get the BBS dishes from ? sorry for so many questions - i'm going to be refurbing mine shortly, either keeping the dishes standard or going up to 1" all round or poss just on the rears. here's what they looked like when bought them a couple of years ago -
  22. Nice one, been after that info for a couple of days - is that what you have on your car ?
  23. Thats a lot of dough  there was a brand new set of 7.5"s for sale on here last week for £1400 decided to stick with the BBS's after all as i can't get the Compomotive MO's in a 5 spoke - major U-Turn but what the hell
  24. Arch work it is then unless i stick to the standard 1/2" lip - may look better with the centres colour coded. i basically want the wheels sitting exactly like this -
  25. Yeah i'm not to keen on the 1/2 " lip look, just doesnt quite look right, but i'm worried if i do that i won't be able to slam the car low without arch work. would probably get the centres sprayed the same colour as the car while i'm @ it if i take that route..
