Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)
scarlet_vr6 replied to Jim's topic in Members Gallery
That's a nice bit of progress, although the interior you had was in great shape anyway! :) Gliptone at the ready? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I take both my VR and my old Jetta GTI to the same tyre place and they obviously remember the cars, because not so long ago 2 of the guys there were arguing which is the better car :) Thankfully, neither referred to my C as a Scirocco, but has happened many times, along with Cordoba, Corolla and even DeLorean... Dark green/blue/black (couldn't tell which under the streetlights) one M***CLT, about 20 mins ago. I was about 3 or 4 cars behind you in the other lane, whilst queuing at the Tesco r'bout in Chineham. Couldn't catch up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am absolutely incensed by this sort of thing. I don't understand how some people can think that behaviour like this is acceptable. I'm both furious and gutted on your behalf. I know I have some wing mirrors kicking around but you have already been offered those and mine are blackberry so not the correct colour, but if I find anything else that may be useful then I'll let you know. Good luck getting everything sorted out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No sooner had I read stu37's thread and saw the damage...

blue C, J***SDP in Red Lion car park in Basingstoke about 2pm today. My guess is it's a valver. Mine was parked a couple of rows away so wonder whether I was spotted too :)

the exact words I was going to use! I'm not very well informed, but I did borrow my boss' brand new one for a few days about 6 years ago, and I thought it was horrible to drive. I was very relieved to get my C back... not sure my boss was though cos he had to give the Porsche back that he had borrowed and go back to the barge lol Good luck sorting something out :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine has just arrived too and yes, my pic is on my birthday month :D Very nice calendar and including the event dates is a lovely touch and hopefully will mean I'm a little more organised this year! Thanks so much Meth :D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Very sorry to read about this. I remember when I caught some little toerag hitting my old Scirocco's rear screen with a tennis racket. Luckily for me, they hadn't done any damage, but I don't know what I'd have done if they had. Difficult to believe that any good would have resulted from any action these days :( I really hope that you find a satisfactory resolution, but I'm unsure what it would be :( Good luck Yay! :)

Mine are rubbish :( My 23 yr old Jetta's heaters are twice as good! Lol at The Oven :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My understanding is that it's only new plates which have to have the supplier's details on them. If you have new plates made, you're supposed to take the V5 along to show you're the registered keeper and the supplier will add their name and postcode. I think the idea is to help crack down on people using false plates on their car. Therefore if your plates were made before the new laws then you don't need the supplier's details on them. It is possible I've dreamt all that up, so perhaps someone else could confirm? ;) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
