spotted white G60 J**OGS at Martins VW, Basingstoke today... sure I have seen this before but struggling to remember who owns it :(
-
nice update Matt and glad to hear you got those issues sorted, even if it is still a mystery! It's looking well 8)

158k for mine, but has done less than 3k since April. I do agree that they were built to drive and not just sit about, but now I have a daily, I enjoy each mile so much more; every mile is for driving pleasure and not just a run to work and back :D Brilliant!

looks good and another thumbs up for the black sebrings 8) good to hear that the progress continues :)
-
bit of a cheat this but.... spotted Marcus' new G60 in the car park at work, looks like a good one :D
-
definitely brings back memories of the Nurburgring last year and also the fun the convoy had at roundabouts

sorry to hear about your loss Kip and hope you get the car sorted soon

I understand that the Stormforce ones are pretty good although the clips are a little weak. I don't have one though... -
just a side note to say that I fitted one of the Jetex pollen filters after finding out about them on here and I'm so glad I did - no more shredded leaves and so on :)
-
I've seen a camper with Porsche lettering on the back, but rearranged to say POSHREC. Think it was at Ultimate Dubs. Made me smile :) oh and a Bora with a T added to the end
-
just want to say thanks to shaung60 for the smoked side repeaters - they will be on the car soon :)

forgot to post this spot from the weekend.... Sat 17th about 10.40am, blue C on Greenridges R'bout near Barton, Oxford. Looked like you were heading north on the A40 but I was in a world of my own waiting for the lights to change so didn't get any details. First spot whilst I've been in my C for aaages too :( Had a nice drive to Stansted and then back to Basingstoke though :D

 sorry to hear that you've sold Magnum, Nick. Best of luck with your track car - you going to stay on here and keep us updated? -
yeah do it, they look so much imo. Just wish we could have the black and silver ones.....

I spoke to them (and emailled them) clearly stating that I wanted UK road legal plates and they were very helpful :) They are reflective, have the right font and spacing and have the company name and postcode where the plates were made on them, so I hope they are legal!! I was assured they are, they even advertise them as being legal on their website. I even got a choice of whether I wanted the new font (since 51 plate, I guess) or the old style - I chose the old style to keep it consistent with the age of the car
-
yes they wanted docs but I scanned and emailled mine to them to save time (they only took 2 days to arrive and I ordered mine after 5pm). They cost me £40 - I did find cheaper online (craigsplates.com) but as the company name has to be on the bottom of the plates nowadays, I wanted the shortest name I could find and one that sounded smart  what a snob I am
-
I have just bought some pressed plates from Frampton's in Portsmouth. I'm very pleased with them, arrived very quickly and are UK road legal :D as for asking for documentation, I think all places are now supposed to ask unless they are selling show plates which aren't road legal

Rocket Queen nearly made it onto my list.. I did listen to it today but I love Don't Cry - was also listening to November Rain, Don't Damn Me and Nightrain. Haven't heard any of Chinese Democracy... sounds like I don't need to bother
-
 thanks

I remember one for sale a while ago which had 250k+ on the clock - made me laugh as it was advertised as 'Millennium Falcon mileage' Have no idea whether that was a decent one or not, but there do seem to be a fair few good ones around with a high mileage. Good luck at the weekend :)

have been listening to spotify all day (fed up at work) but today's favourites are mostly tracks which I haven't listened to in a while.... Beastie Boys - Remote Control James - Laid Depeche Mode - Barrel of a Gun RHCP - Under the Bridge Radiohead - The Bends (album as well as track) GnR - Don't Cry (alt version is my preference..) and PPK - Resurrection for a beat... :) edit: can tell looking at that lot, that I'm having a bad day :?

sorry to have read about that Nick :( and I can't help you either - the black front bumper is a mess. It's grazed, the paint is down to the primer in a fair few places (not from my ownership btw!) and also the inner plastic piece with the runners is broken on one side... it's for the bin I think! I'll take it anyway. I'm gonna try and make my own smooth bumper. Nick really sorry Nick, but I have already promised the bumper to Tom. He said he would take it last week before I had even got it off the car. I checked it a couple of days ago and found the damaged insert for the runners so thought it was a lost cause but got a reply from him earlier saying he still wants it. Sorry... it’s yours if he changes his mind though...
