whats the largest it can be bored out to, to remain effective? Its now at 52mm internal, just seen others who have fettled them, wondered whats the going diameter size? Cheers

PG engined Golf G60, the oil pressure sender that screws into the t piece that feeds the charger from the head. blue wire to it i think/ thanks

hey wot about using an outlet that they use for air con g60s? would that not decrease the amount of angle 4 u. oh and i have some spare ali tubin if ya need it dude, 63mm diameter, left over from mine. lemme know :D -

i concur, keep the rado and get it fixed. it will be head off time if its stem seals, but i do believe they can be done without this with compressed air in the apark plug holes to keep the valve closed. point of interest, have u checked the breathers as said before and maybe do a compression check? hope u gerrit sorted mate.

the engine i have in mine was out of a corrado that had only done 83k, i guess over time they become hard and less pliable and are prone to cracking, this was evident when we tried to take the old ones out! not sayin it is, but it could be them perishing things! hope u get it sorted m8 by the way

mine used to do that on my g60, changed valve stem seals, cured it

Yep my cousin and his mate went down to see Darren. He did my mates chip n pulley and my cousins rebuild and chip n pulley, at the same time looked over a couple of chargers for me and is rebuilding one of them, the other one was a bit erm damaged? Anyway they are moooooooore than happy with the service and advice the man gave him, we just need another Darren up North now to keep our G's sweet! -

not the wallace grommet. the grommet that i can use to blank off the hole in the rear hatch where the wiper motor spindle pokes through, anyone have a part number? gonna delete the rear wiper but need to plug the hole up. Cheers it may be the same one as the front?> mk2 golf by the way

yeah good work mate I am gonna do this too , looks like a good mod 2 questions does it make any difference in ya throttle response or power delivery( noise too) and second question what rocker cover is that cos if im not mistaken, thats the 1st one ive seen wit the breather on the opposite side to the one on mine, i thought mk3 golf gtis had them on that side? But back on topic WELL DONE!!! :D

Get a Corolla RWD or Celica I miss mine so much but at the sam time i love my mk2 but when i see a Corolla ( same number of letters as Corrado, one C, 2 Os, 1 A) my heart skips a beat or even when i see an old 80s Datsun lol RWD is the way 4ward . Hope u get summat u can fall in love with mate, whatever it ends up being. Audi S2? lol

i have this problem too, my solution is to blip the throttle over three grand and that usually get sthe alternator charging, i have a few mates who own G60s and mk2s that have this problem .hope u get it sorted keep us informed cheers

flippin heck Neil we were only talkin bout this last time u mentioned the banging. get it welded up dude, i aint gotta portable welder other wise id be there and do it. if it can come off, which i dont think it can i can do it at work 4 ya. lemme know

can u buy the little plastic caps that go on the end of the injector that sometimes gets stuck in the head when removing them? They look like litte hats. Cheers

as u may know , putting my engine back now BUT dont know wot torque to set it to. the g60 stretch bolt goes up to 200 nm, but as u know im replacin it wi a mk1 non streych which the haynes manual says go up to 80nm, wot shall i do?
