Hi Apparently using a non-kosher glue can make the windscreen crack, so use the proper stuff.

Hi I have just looked closely at the picture of the throttle. The idle adjustment screw seems too far out. Screw it in all the way and check.

Hi Before you remove the old one, check that the electrical connector fits the new one. I had fun and games with one i bought from GSF.

Hi Together with the other relays i guess. Please put up a picture of the relayfusebox. The x-relay is normally with a large 18 on it.

Hi Take the starter out, clean it up, test it and put it back.

Hi Change the fuel filter. Then if the pump is still noisy, then change the fuel pump.

Hi Thank you. Apparently it is the size of a fag packet, and is black in color. Thank you. There is a feed from -ve teminal of the ignition coil to the idle control unit. This feed must be fluctuating from 0 to 12v at the frequency of the sparking at the plugs. Soooo the extra air to stabilise the idle is released into the inlet manifold at the same frequency. What an interesing design.
