Hi Just the picture I wanted to see. Please put up a picture of the opposite side of the dizzy. Also, how easy was it to replace the hallsender inside the dizzy ? Do they come new with the hall sender ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Next time open the bonnet, push the tower down/up(cannot remember), then slide the lever to get into reverse, jump into the car, press the clutch down, start the car and away you go.

Hi The fan will only come on if you earth from the inside of the plug.

Hi Whip the starter out and give it a good clean, test it and then and put it back.

Hi Looks like you have a lazy starter. You need to take it out and just clean the shaft. What car is it.

Hi Feel free to add to this list. 1. Energise relay-for-fuel pump for 2 seconds. 2. De-energise relay-for-fuel pump in case of an accident. 3. Energise relay-for-fuel pump permanently. 4. Advance ignition-timing according to temperature and engine-revs. 5. Switch ISV on. 6.Switch ISV off.

Hi Can you hear the pumps run for 2 seconds every time you turn the ignition ON.

Hi The fuel pumps prime ok. But, the pumps dont run when cranking the engine or when the engine is running. What is the most likely cause.

Hi Well done. What manual is it ? I just immersed the non-plug end of the ISV in carb cleaner overnight.

Hi With the ignition ON, the ISV should buzz. Sooooo you have a fuel distributor on the airbox, and that got tilted when you lifted the airbox cover. I would look into the plate etc connected in the fuel distributor. -

Hi Put up a picture of the relays. You should have an ECU relay in positon 3.

Hi A simple thing to change is the ignition switch. Try that.

Hi Anybody with a wiring diagram for a KR please. Two wires going to the vacuum sensor fitted to the top left of the airbox. Where do they lead to. What uses this signal.

Hi Thanks very much for the quick reply. It seems to be missing which could be fuel or electric. Just trying to rule out the electrics before going on to fuel. Soooo from what you are saying, with a stationary engine and turning the ignition on and off, you will only get a spark from the coil if the dizzy happens by chance to be at the firing point i.e. hall sender magnetic field interrupted.

Hi Plugged a plug at the end of the coil ht lead and turned the ignition ON and OFF a few times. Only got a spark a few times when switching OFF. Should it spark EVERY time ? Does this mean the coil is faulty OR the ignition switch OR the TCI-H unit . Cheers for any input.

Hi No. The aux pump runs on a hot engine with the ignition off. Put up a picture of the area you have been working in the engine.
