Electronics? - Are you saying my idea of a series of intricate plastic pulleys, old shoelaces, olympic trained gerbils and extra mature cheddar won't work? why do I always over complicate things!
-
it's several turns for complete range of movement, not a lot of force either. I've been talking to a electronics wiz at work who said it should be fairly easy, using hi-torque motors.
-
Would it be possible/worthwhile fitting motors to the top of my coilovers to adjust the harshness of them remotely? I'm fed up with having to stop everytime I find a decent enough road to have a bit of fun  Has anyone tried this or heard of it being done?
-
I'd use one for sure.
-
too much but I dont regrete a single penny

I use elephant and I'm paying £320 fully comp with all mods decleared. I know I'm a bit older but might be worth giving them a try

Filling up with petrol earlier a lad in a "max'd" saxo at the pump beside said how good my car looked and how he's saving for a corrado at the moment!
-
I dunno if you want to try an impact driver seeing as the bolts are against the charger but it might work.

I've just been draining the tank on my car my, think i've run about 14 litres of Tesco's "finest" petrol through my engine. is this likely to have caused any damage? or could the back fire have just been a warning? Cheers for your responses BTW

I was just on my way home when the car when really sluggish as if I had lost loads of power. Expecting to breakdown any second I changed down gears from 3rd to 2nd, where the exhaust let out an almighty backfire. I cacked me pants and the cyclist behind nearly fell off his bike! Afterwards it was fine! :? What could have caused this? Is it going to be expensives!?

This might sound really dumb, but I've just fitted a set of 15" BBS in place of the 17" that were on, and now want to lower my car about another inch. Do I wind down the coilover threads an inch or is there a ratio of turns to amount lowered? BTW the coilovers are FK Konigsports. Cheers Slim.

is that why "kids and grown-up love it so?" -
Big thanks to andy_vw, sold me a set of wheels and after loads of courier problems even offered to deliver them personally. Wheels really well packaged too. :thumbleft: :thumb right:

Definately get the eaton, I had both on my polo (not a the same time!) and the eaton was easily the best.

Bored - Tell us your road/corrado stories

I had some plank in an R32 skyline sat up my exhaust, I slowed down a little as he overtook me around the outside of a blind bend and shot of into the distance like a cat on fire. No more than 3 miles down the road were some pretty thick skiddies on the road and the same skyline upside down in a field. Checked to make sure everyone was ok, laughed my ar$e off and drove away. -
:pukeleft: Note to self: never ever upset the wife!

try moving the key in the ignition as you try to start it. I had this and after a hefty bill to tell my alarm was fine it turned out to be the Ignition Barrel.
-
And give it a wipe with some meths to remove and grease or grime to help it stick.

Pikey scum! :lcop: Caught! And charged! :2gunfire:

I think that any thieving scum bag should be turned into organ doners. -
Check the headlight loom for any signs of wear, if the main beam wire is shorting to earth it will blow the fuse. Also the headlight connector. Do you have an uprated headlight loom?

Shotgun?

If you can remove the panel on the inside of the boot (where the spoiler motor and rear window wiper motos is) then you will also see the rear of the lock. There is a bar attached to the lock that runs across to the latch which you should be able to pull and get your boot open!
