or use PTFE tape and vasaline like I did! Didn't half get a funny look buying a massive tub of the stuff

LOWER!! looking good though. 8)

Nice looking Corrado you got there. Should see you round

Not sure if the rears will bolt straight in, the feet seem to be at the wrong angle. I've not really had a proper look yet thou but should hopefully get round to it this week. really hope I can get the rear seats to have the seat belts built in. After that I'm not sure what to do next? Haven't really got many more plans for her :(

Looks awesome on those rims, great pictures 8)

Thanks for the comments peeps. the fronts were fairly easy but I had the added advantage of getting my hands on some pre-made frames that the back of the seats bolt to. These sit in the runners and the front of the seat bolts to a cross beam. The rears are gonna be a pain in the :censored: I think.

Sorry about the randomness of the question, was a bit drunk and the wife had had a bit of a barney as all I spend my money on is th ecorrado and flying recently. Dont think I've got the heart to sell the corrado at the moment as I've recently put a lot of time into it.

I've got a dilemma. A couple of years ago I got my PPL (private pilot licence). My initial intention was to get a plane, however I never did but flew with a local clubs to keep current. Recently I've been flying a little more and been flying a friends Pitts (aerobatic bi-plane) and have really got the flying bug again. My decision is, do I keep the corrado and keep flying other planes? Or is it time to sell up?

got round to finishing off the front seats today, really happy with how they look too. climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDSC01125.JPG[/attachment:2asrs7ea] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC01126.JPG[/attachment:2asrs7ea] DSC01127.JPG[/attachment:2asrs7ea] Just have to figure a way to fit the rear's in now, not sure how I'll do it

I think your pretty brave to go for a colour scheme like that and rock the boat a little. It's not my cuppa tea (perhaps because I haven't got the minerals to do it!) but as long as your chuffed with it then :thumb right: :thumbleft:

Picked up the frames today from reaper1_3 to fit my TT seats. Unfortunatly I haven't been able to finish them so here's just a quick picture of the drivers seat in. DSC01119.JPG[/attachment:30iku4v1] More pictures to follow, as well as news on the TD5 intercooler pipework when I hear back about it :?

Huge thanks to reaper1_3 who sorted me out with the frames to mount my TT seats. Even threw in a few other spare too and loads of diagrams to help me! Cheers

I'm sure I got a spare pump in my shed if your interested? might even be brand new  -
These people are suppose to be a role model to younger generations, someone to look up to and aspire to be like. Like I said, I hope they throw the book at him, it's about tiime celebrities were taught they're not above the law "because of who they are"
-
is it only when you try and lock it with the fob? if it's all the time then it could be the rod that connects the pump to the latch has come loose.
-
It'll serve him right, hope he rots in hell

Cool 8) Really like to get mine done but I'm scared it'll probably blow up!

I plan on starting to refurb the borbets this weekend but I need peoples help. Should I just have them plan alloy colour? or should I go for something more daring? I've thought about doing the spokes gunmetal colour in a similar style to Riley, or perhaps the whole wheel including the dish. Whats peples opinions on this? Cheers

Don't call him, if he call's it a golf he deserves to be ignored :?
-
Flat center's will be ordered once I've refurb'd them! Need a quiet month as I spent a small fortune last month and also got the wifes birthday too so I need to shower her with gifts and not my car :(
-
I THINK hers are wider on the back giving a deeper dish. Looks ace on those rims mate :D Cheers, I'm really chuffed with the the way it look 8) However having just driven it for the first time with the new wheels on it would appear that I'm now rolling my rear arches this weekend.
-
Not sure how low it is, but they're 7.5's all round. I might measure it theis weekend to see how low it really is They're probably in worst condition

Who takes their corrado on track days?
Slimg60 replied to dizzydubbers_missis's topic in General Car Chat
I've tracked mine at Snetterton a few times. I always go when it's an open pitlane, instead of sessions. This gives you the freedom to do a few laps at a time whenever you like. -
Welcome, that is one clean C  Looks sweet 8)
