How difficult would this be? I know the heater controls are different but is any thing else? Or would I be better off getting a black early dash for mine?
-
hopefullt that'll be glass out then, is that a good price or is he trying to have my pants down?
-
I think so, but not 100%, does it make a big difference glass in/out?
-

I had a J reg 1.4 Renault Clio RT, it was such a heap when I'd finished with it I couldn't sell it so I gave it to my little brother-in-law as a project.

Thanks for the replys, managed to get the rears free'd up today and I'll have a go at the fronts tomorrow. I've thought about putting PTFE tape around the threads, would this help to stop them corroding again?

Decided to lower my car today, only the coilovers are stuck soild. I've tried soaking them in WD-40 and everyother oil I had in my shed, as well as a 3foot extension bar on the C spanner itself but just bent it. Is there anything else I can try?

Did it just suddenly go or did it get progressivly worst?

Repairing? Is that with solvent glue? I would like to do mine also. I used mesh and fibreglass on the back to give strength, then plastic filler in the cracks.

Very happy with Vehicle Electrix in Lincoln. 01522 521181 Came out on a bank holiday to check over my immobiliser. After finding 4 alarms and immobilers still wired in, he removed all of them and installed a CAT 1. Top Service

Cheers for the replies everyone, sorted it this morning, found there was no earth on the fuel pump relay as the ECU plug had come loose. Now gettng a new alarm fitted as I'm not happy with the state of the wiring for the other.
-
Cheers for the search Andi, I'll try the relay checks tomorrow
-
I've wired the pump straight to the battery and it worked. There's no voltage at the pump plug or across the fuse holder either.
-
The immobiliser is a Cobra cat 1. Is relay 80 the one for the fuel pump? it feels link the relay is clicking over when the ignition is turned.
-
My car wouldn't start on monday. Was turning over but not firing. I then noticed the fuel pump wasn't "buzzing" when the key was turned. I then checked the fuse, ok. There's no voltage at the fuse holder though either, is this likly to be the immobilser? Any help would be great. Cheers.

My fuel Pump packed up today I think. I'd just like to test the voltages at the plug to make sure before I go changing anything. Any help would be great.
