My charger has started to weap at the bottom by one of the allen bolts that holds it together its a thick oil residue. I had the charger rebuilt 13,000 miles ago about 2 years. Anyone know if its normal?

was that from a dealer? thats quite cheap ill have to get on the phone.

its a bit like blackfire wet ice over fire shine they use a mixture of carnuaba wax and polomers to get a good long lasting shine.i paid nearly the same amount to have my car detailed by dave http://www.sportscarprotection.com using zymol royale 2 days of paint correction then the wax and for a car with orignal red paint the shine was amazing at lasted at least 6 months witout waxing agian.its nearly time for for a top up

try zymol wheel cleaner 100% natural its like a gel, as long as you get most the thick stuff off first its good stuff.At £18 for 650ml its not cheap, i then use the zymol wheek wax to finish off.

get an origin b2 or new pogo,very good bit of kit (speed camera detector).and save your money on a sat nav and read a map?

does anyone know anything about the schrick cam cover for the 8v,how much they are worth,ant better over stock,how many they made etc.I know they made the inlet for the vr6 that about all i know.

i was reading auto express the other day on a section about simerlarities between super cars and normal cars,and guess what the rado was in there.Apparentaly the wing mirros on a mclaren f1 are off the corrado and it says the vw stamp and number can still be seen on the underside of many.Hows about that :D

ive seen jay renshaws 24v corrado for sale and no one seem to be interested as price has been dropped.I think its ace and im a pickle weather to sell the 36k concours g60 as its so much money to try and keep it in great condition as its my daily driver as well.It could do with been garaged and used in the summer.At least i could drive the 24v and do shows and not keep worrying cleaning the arches and underside to keep it in concours condition.

hi mate nice to see another low milage g60 and in red,mines up to 37k now,i was in the same dilema i wanted to get a bir more power but keep it looking original.So far ive got a de cat pipe,sebring exhaust,raceland 4 branch manifold and k and n filter.It pulls a lot better and sounds great recon its added about 10-15hp.All i want now is to get the head polished and ported,sns chip and 70mm pulley,leightweight engine pulleys,autotech ali venier pulley to help the engine spin up quicker.If i can get 200hp i will be happy and prob spent around £650 doing it.

the piper cam sound good where could i get one of those from had a look on the web site but cant find that part no?

would the rear calipers off a skoda vrs tdi fit the corrado are they the same as the mk4?

hi folks this might of been brought up before but tried the search and couldnt find anything.Im really confused on a cam choice for the g60,mods so far are a decat pipe and superspint exhaust,4 branch manifold a 70mm pulley (just need a chip) and i want to get the head done.i know im not going to get loads of hp i just want a litle more than standard without putting to much stress on the motor.Ive looked at a number of cams ive narrowed it down to piper 260-260- 2000-6000-rpm kent 266- 1500-6000-rpm neman 264-278- 2500-7000-rpm any advise or shall i keep the standard one on?

hi spotted a vr6 the other day brought from the same garage as mine enterprise in bridgnorth,so decided to follow and have a chat.Turned out that they are a couple of retired teachers and they have had the car from new 20k i think they spent in 96.Anyway they dont use the car just sits on the drive and they were going to sell it as not getting used its a vr6 blue n plate full vw history i think, 82k never been trashed at all prob never been to the red line at all.The body work looks ok but wheels are pitted bad, a cracked head light and a few otherthings might need doing but mechanicaly it should be sound.How much do you think it would be worth cause he needs help with the price i said 4-5k maybe. let me know what you think

i think they run seperate little discs & calipers for the handbrake i looked up the size and they are 290mm i know they would fit behind 16" not sure on stanard wheels

hi i was speaking to a freind who used to work upholstering car seats, and he say when the manufactures say leather seat all that is leather are all the faces thats that you sit against all,so if its says half leather really its quarter leather cause all there would be are the head rests and the bolsters.Is this true as i thought they were all over?

i think there is a higher % of storms with low milage still out there compared to g60s most off them have cracked 100k so in that respect its quiet rare.Im a bit gutted i use it as my daily driver it only had 16k when i brought it but hey i enjoy it and thats what its all about the driving.im going to show it again at concourse this year and hopefully beat the vrs im normally out numbered 5-1 i will be at dub freeze and ultimate dubs so i may see some of you there.
