I was following crazy dave down a dual carrageway on the way to worceter meet, went to bear left and i just lost the back end, i lifted off and waited for it to grip but nothing it was like i was on ice. 1 way then the other straight up the kerb hit the elctrical box blew the tyre out and came to a halt. We were not even going fast as he had the little one in the car, its a good job i was not trying to keep up like usual other wise i think i would of hit the central reservasion and been a right off. :censored:

stanford hall 2008, good day with the 20th anniversary celebrations some nice cars turned out. Managed 3rd behind the 2 mint roccos, i think 1st is way out of reach at least im the only g60.

managed to get a little more info at the autosport show, the gumpert apollo was on the evo stand and the bloke whos it was built this car he was a ex partner of dub-sport. He said the car and engine was originally running close to 500hp back in the day but the injectors packed up on one of the cylinders and messed up the engine,so they got the engine out the back of the orange mk 1 and used that he says it is a t3/4 hybid turbo i think and its been on the dyno and got 370hp@ wheels. Its a straight car and he is in no rush to sell it but he dosent like it any more,if you want to run more power the head gasket need changing for one of a transporter for some reason thats what i was told. Cleared a few things up still a nice car.

So is head work worth it then, ive thought about it but i took mine on the rollers with just a 70mm pulley it made 194hp & 193lbfts another guy had a 68mm pulley g-werks cnc head and only made 170 ish?

Managed to get away on holiday in april to manaco,second time ive been now its a cool place. Was suprised to see a vr6 on design 90s with cream leather

you were right mate but im going to have to be a magian to get it on now as the charger bracket is on. Do you think i will get away without using it?

Hi mate nice g60 im local as well work at sealine in kidderminster,if you need ant help give me a shout im doing some work on mine as we speak check put 'drews g60 a year in pics' for updates.

I tried 2 secondhand ones off ebay and thet were crap all shitty and the motor housinngs were broke. So just got a new one,bit like the pas pump ive just got i could of got a second one but obsolete now so managed to source a new one so i got it. I try and keep it as original as possible a little expensive though.

sounds promising i know it was from down there somewhere ill go and try it

march/april 08 getting ready for stanford hall

hi all ive tried to do this before and wrote quite a lot and went to post it and lost it all so i will just add photos if i can over the last 12 months of whats happened and where im upto. I managed to get a bread van as a little run around and decided to try and strip the g60 down with my limited knowladge and a tool kit from halfords.

ok cheers guys got new tensioners and pas pump coming together nicley, i have this bolt left over and i cant remember where i took it off ive suprised myself by managing to put all the others back in the right place. Any ideas

thanks for the help guys, i would be intersed in that pump is it for the g60 or would in need modifing. Another big problem im having is all new bolts im after are crap compared to the old ones that came off i keep sending them back to dealers and tell them but not interestrd.

hi all im after a new power sterring pump for a 91 corrado g60 ive been to the dealers and they are now obsolete does any know if they are specific to the g60 and whrer i can get one? i wouls like one as close to the original as possible. Also im after the 2 tensioner rollers for the g-lader the dealer quoted £27 each which seems alot can you get these from anywhere else or are they dealer only, they look like a generic size roller to me. Ive run into a little trouble ive been stripping my car down and replacing water pump,gaskets etc and general winter cleaning. Supercharged told me to replace all the plasitic water/coolent adapters i did the one on the bottom of the water pump, today i was going to change the on on the front of the head, started to undo the bolts and 1 snapped off leaving the thread still in the hole. There is about 2mm sticking out cant really get any grips on it does any one have any ideas please cheers.

ok i have a couple brouchures from germany on a limited edition g60s, the first one is unusual because the car is brown with cream leather not sure what the code is as the ones listed are r8- brilliant black metalic sk 9974-black violot pearl effect sk 9986-purple light blue metalic r2-dark burgundy pearl effect sk 9990-midnight blue pearl effect no brown? andy 565 has a poster of this car as well he may have more info The second is a corrado built by abt tuning its black with black and polished oz turbos, side mounted exhaust, bilstien suspension,eybeow spoiler,different rocker cover and by pass valve and a smaller chip and pulley, and a votex sports steering wheel (which was on my car when i brought it but sold it as thought it was not standard) i will try to get some pics up as soon as i can

nice car andy ive be looking at these for a long time along with the passat w8 you get so much for your money and there not to slow either, i had ago in my mates and it pulled really well nice and smooth and to say its a heavy car with only 204hp i was very impressed. and you guys thought i go mad cleaning mine, this is all a bit anal for me. I like trying to keep it concorse but at least i use mine. The one guy on the right paul dalton has just had a swiavax wax named after him costing 10k a tub.

mine made 194hp & 193lbft with a 70mm pulley and a sns chip. That was at stealth last year i was very happy so thats 44hp for £200 not to bad. I just need a weigh bridge now to work out my bhp/tonne.

hi guys after some research and a recent open day i went to i can say that this product is very good. this pic will show you how good it works, its the factory wrx and g-tech is now the official coating supplier half was done with c1 nano coat and the other without. Then one muddy stage through a welsh forest and theres the answer. The c1 forms a microscopic nano particle layer on the paint bonding with it and it helps pull the dirt away.

a little bird told me at a recent show he is always racing porsches and giving it a good thrash? It is a little boaring when you have the worlds fastest 0-100-0, 0-60 & 0-100 car the gtr ultima :notworthy:

I think its a nice car and not bad for the money, we can say things about it all day but at least he picked a corrado to work on, i dont think he cares about money as hes getting a gumbert appolo next, i dont think even kev can beat that its in a different leauge.
