Haha! Yes don't think he was that happy to see me! I only popped in as I was going past, I'll try and do the same another day for a chat. Should be going for the Sunday I think. It's a bit expensive this year which seems to be putting mates off a full weekend.

For the money, and if you want an R32, there is this available - http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/volkswagen/golf-r32-r/volkswagen-golf-dsg-r32-mtm-turbo-600hp-2006/2800656 And you can spend the change on petrol to annoy supercars!

This car looks so good. I'd love to see it at an event. Top work!

That was me. Not quite as smart of yours.

Didn't realise yours was the other corrado on the day mate, would've been good to meet. Well done on the win

Welcome along! Pics!!!

Sexy images?

Have to say I've run T1R's on a few of my cars, and I'm on my 2nd set on the 'rado. Yeah they aren't great in the wet, but they're no worse than some I've tried, and in the dry they're very good IMO if a little fast wearing. Soft compound and hard tyre walls makes them good for the occasional trackday. At the national day a few years ago I was setting times only a couple of seconds off a guy running R888's on a VR6 track corrado whilst I was running T1R's without any issue so they're more than capable of taking a beating.

Now imagine it sung by Tom and Reidy...... From your wardrobe.....

Yes yes yes! Looks very very well mate, would love to see this in the flesh.

I'm using a bit of a Frankenstein setup. R32 headers into a VR6 downpipe which has R32 flanges cut and welded onto it, then the downpipe has been cut and adjusted to fit and some lambda bungs in each bank. Easy!

Awesome. Good luck tomorrow and with the detailing

Doesn't look like it was fitted by kwikfit though then!

Even after a shine up it looks completely innoxious..... wouldn't have it any other way though!

Cheers Kev, good shout. I'd like to run vcds on it as well, and ultimately DTA if my winter project comes off.

So you'd recommend a mac mate? I've only ever used windows but I'm happy to switch... I've got apple everything else so I like the idea of it all syncing together for things like calendars etc. Replied to your PM, cheers. Would you go pro over air or does the air handle the editing quite well?

Morning all! I'm sure some of you on here are going to be able to help me with this. Basically I've had a gopro for a few years and I usually end up editing the files on my work PC.... which is not designed for it and tends to be a very long and boring task. So I'm thinking of taking the plunge and finally getting myself something to edit videos on. I don't have the space at home for a full desktop PC so I'm looking at a laptop. I think the MacBook pro's get a good review and are very much suited to the task in hand, but there's obviously the price (although I am thinking I'll be doing more videos as my son grows up and I've got a few projects in the back of my mind so it will get used). And I don't know enough about computers to spec up my own laptop so I'm after some advice. Do people recommend the MacBook or what are others using to edit files?

Welcome along, looks very nice indeed.

I'm running 304mm ap racing 4 pots with these wheels and although close they fit fine without any spacers.

Cheers for all the comments, I'm definitely back in love with the thing at the moment. Hope to get some better pics over the weekend if it's good weather over the weekend. And as for the next project......

Only if I can get a haircut tomorrow chap!

Right, realised I've not updated this since the detailing. Basically I had the car professionally detailed/corrected ready for a friends wedding last weekend, and by all accounts the guy thought this was one of the hardest cars he'd ever worked on. It was meant to be in for a 2 day make over but in reality he only had time to do the paint correction on the bodywork and wheels, and a tidy of the interior. That aside the car, in my completely unbiased opinion , looks fantastic! The pics on my camera phone don't do it anywhere near the justice it deserves. It's like glass! But before that I decided I really need to sort it's new home out. Since the house move my new garage has been full of 'stuff'.... so first things first.... Start Someone trying to get a look in And the finished(ish.... I still need to tidy a few more things) job! So then it was off to the detailer, and 2 days later it came home looking like this: And he fits in perfectly. Room all the way round to buff and room at the workbench end to tinker to my hearts content! :thumbleft: Now I can start planning any winter projects and keep it out of the elements. Result!
