Morning all got up today, nice and early to meet the guys going to the RR day @ stealth only to get to my car and think... 'Is that my car that smells of fuel?' And yes it is, top fuel line into the fuel rail has got a nice big crack in it, no doubt from where i was trying to sort stuff on the engine yesterday, and petrol everywhere! :( Although i'll need to have a better look when its light (current time 6.48am) i was just wondering how hard these lines are to change?

Only hand mine 6 days and i've already been greeted with a sea of blank faces when i tell people what i've bought! Although my gf's uncle (drives a variety of Porsches) rang me the other day when he found out! - "Nice car Mic, feel free to bring it round to show me" - so at least someone knows what it is! 8) -
Hi Supergharged, Thanks for the invite to Stealth but unfortunately I won't be able to come this time as I have exam committments next week which I MUST revise for! :( But in the long run it means a better job so more cash to throw at the 'rado! :D If you guys are all meeting up at Cambs services I might drag myself out to meet a few guys, get to know some faces etc and let you all have a look at my car, and then I can go back home to bed!... i mean revision... I'm only cambridge so I'll try to be there about 6.30 and I look forward to meeting you all

Hi guys, Having brought my first Corrado, a VR6 (i'll get a pic up soon), last weekend I'm trying to get all the issues with it sorted in the run up to christmas. Most of the stuff is relatively straight forward but it has one problem which I'm not so sure about. Its sounds like a drivetrain problem but because I'm not a trained mechanic I'm not really sure what to look for so I was wondering if there was anybody with a good technical knowledge in the cambridge area who might be able to have a quick look at it for me and let me know what they think. Cheers Michael

Well i've had a look around and I'll be going to see a few at the weekend hopefully. This time next week I should have a new toy! 8) Herisites - So your a rushden boy eh? I grew up in raunds, then I moved to Cambridge about three years ago. My parents still live there. I'll be keeping an eye out for you when I'm back there

That buying guide is a bit on the organised side! I'm impressed! As for mileage, seen some nice (Looking) ones around the 120K miles mark. Does this sound high? What kind of things will need doing at this mileage (timing chains, engine overhaul etc?) I'm fairly competent but i'll be leaving engine/bodywork as standard as I've got a mk2 golf that I get the pleasure of fixing most of the time

That'll teach me for not paying attention! £3500 for car, £500 for odds and sods. What a great start to my life on Corrado.net

Hi guys, new to the forum and thought I'd say hello and ask some advice. Looking to upgrade from my current mk2 golf to a corrado, VR6 for definite!, and I was wondering if people could tell me the kind of things I should look out for when I go to see potential motors? Got about £4k to spend but I'd like to get wheels/suspension done on anything I do get so probably looking at £500 for the actual car. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers
