  1. KIP, have to say your engine bay is without doubt the cleanest most orignal I have ever seen... Hats off to you! Not sure if these are going to be of any use in terms of inspiration as only the first pic is a standard VR6, but here goes: It went from this... (bit small but its the only one I can find from all those years ago!) - Basically shiny plates over the end of the rocker and the DOHC plastic with colour coded lead holder plastics, polished belt tensioner and TB. To this... Supercharged To this... Second incarnation of Supercharged And the most recent... Turbo'd
  2. Cheers fella - ill have it then. PM coming your way.
  3. Lol. I could see the crack on the pic just cant see if it goes all the way across? i.e. is it actually split in two or is it just a crack. The one I have at the moment is split so not much point buying another one in the same condition fella.
  4. Thanks for letting me know. Does the crack go all the way across? You can't quite see in the picture. Just wondering if I can bond it from the back of the console.
  5. How much do you want for it fella?
  6. Thats a very nice Corrado fella, 182mph must have been a massive adrenalin rush. I had mine featured in Golf+ last year... look forward to seeing your write up.
  7. As above. Anyone have one for sale?
  8. Urgently need a set of Schimmel short HT leads (VR6) does anyone know if or where I can get some in the UK? Thanks.
  9. Has anyone got a set for sale... needed urgently? Or does anyone know where I can buy some in the UK? Thanks.
  10. Yeah have to agree the 20% slip seems best as the other settings feel like they bog the car down too much. Did Vince fit yours? He has adapted the 20% slip option on his config file so it is more like 30% I havent run it at Santa Pod yet (apparently the surface there shaves 1/2 a second off?) but I run a 13.0 at North Weald air strip last season without the TC
  11. Got my traction control up and running yesterday and what a difference it makes, well chuffed. Have to say though, it makes a VRT a very boring drive on 5% slip LOL!
  12. Need a PSI boost gauge, thought I'd see if anyone had one for sale before I buy a new one....
  13. Long time no speak Kev.... hmm your going 24v now then? They are very good figures /\ top markes to Vince! 10psi with my set up made 382bhp Oh yes.... catastrophic failure of my gearbox, stripped all the teeth off 5th gear
  14. I havent been on here for a while!! Just wanted to offer another opinion... I have the GT3076 and I think this gives the best of both worlds, the quick spool of a 30 frame turbo and top end punch similar to that of a 35 frame turbo. To give you an idea, with a big valve head, schimmel cams, stand alone management and a number of other mods my VRT with the 3076 makes 326bhp @ 7psi
  15. Are VRT's welcome? I fancy seeing what mine makes on a different set of rollers, only have print outs from Emerald's RR at the moment.
  16. Nope, I started proceedings and was fully expecting to have to attend court but they accepted liability. I assume this was because the court fees would have been more expensive than the compensation. Good luck fella. Ben
  17. I will totally agree, avoid P2G!! I had to take these guys through the small claims court proceedure over a package that completely went missing, no record of it whatsoever! I won and got full recompence but its a hassle you dont need. I certainly wouldnt ever use them again!
  18. Correct - if you want to know if it is actually a Storm... or at least started its life as one then call a dealer with the chassis number from the V5, they can confim either way.
  19. Lets say a standard VR makes 200hp. Well Kevs makes 392 @ 11psi - therefore divide 192 by 11 = 17.45 56 from 3psi - same maths = 18.6 Not that much difference fella.
  20. I can understand what your saying mate but the 56hp gain from 3psi was measured on the standard rolling road software.... therefore I fail to see why 6psi wouldnt give a gain of approx 112hp. Does that make sense to you? We both know that a GT3076 is capable of 500hp, as is a GT35 of 600hp. I think we need to get this RR day set up!
  21. Correct Kev - when I posted these graphs last time I did explain that the high boost map is 5% out (approx 30bhp) Emeralds strandard rollering road software only go up to 400bhp, they use a different software set up to read higher power than that. If you look at the power increase from 7 to 10psi (56bhp) then x2 for the difference between 10 and 16psi (112bhp) its running about 500bhp on the high boost map.
  22. SPEC: Wiseco 9:1 83mm pistons (2937cc) THS Rods Big Valve Head Schimmel 263 cams Forge FMIC Schimmel short runner 3" Exhaust Larger TB 4" Air Intake GT3076 525cc Injectors Emerald ECU Power Map 1 - 326.9bhp @ 7psi Map 2 - 382.1bhp @ 10psi Map 3 - 540bhp
  23. Good figures there Coullstar, sounds very nice too :D Im running 9:1 CR with no Cat, full 3" system... but, I do not run the schimmel CC Kev.... I have a custom Forge FMIC
