Sound of dripping & small oil (?) leak - paranoia?

ducanthemad wrote Because many of these ramps are steep, getting a C without it hitting the spoiler can be a problem. The ramps need to be held in place whilst driving onto them as they can skid across the floor and jump too. And just becareful that there balanced befor you go underneath, as it has been known for the car to shift forward on the ramps, thus causing back of the ramps to rise and smack the sills and topple to the ground. Just be careful of these things mate. :) -
When i fitted new dashes at the dealer, we got one chance at inputing the correct milege (you have to convert into km) using 1551. if you put it wrong then the that was tough sh}t. :D

Does the fuel gauage read ok or does that play up as well, ?? VR6 is a solid engine and 78k is nothing for one of them,

If you can afford and wait for the delivery times, then fit YOKOHAMA AVS SPORT. they handle like no other tyre ive driven on, and they look the muts nuts when on. :D :D

Sorry i meant euro car parts not GSF :? SVG is manafacture of quality panels made to insurance standards, i think they are only available to trade. Many of the major ins companies use them, direct line, churchill etc. As regards to price against salavge £2000-2200. I dont expect to you to get £3000. And it doesnt matter what you insured for either. :(

Leenylogknob, try a breakers first. Euro car parts may do one. Funny how to sensors have gone down together?? :?

engine cuts out in traffic after engine temp reaches 112+
sc16v replied to thinksmart's topic in Engine Bay
Does it cut out at exaclty 112 or at different temps above 112??? Once its cut out does it re start straight away, then cut out again. ??? -
Ever thought that Scotts idea of silky smooth idle may be slightly different to yours. and vice versa. best way would be to see each others cars, you problay find there exactly the same, just different interpretations of the meaning silky smooth. just my 2p.
-
Did you get to see the dodge viper bike running :D what a machine
-
GSF and SVG will do major panels, bonnets, wings, lights etc. Most insurance companys now hav to use SVG parts (non gen but same standard) to cut cost of repairs. As not to write them off. It cant be light damage if needs all that thats nearly a whole front end mate. are you sure nothing will repair.

Drill the air box (the noise is the benefit here and it can drag extra air in even more so in the winter) the extra heat is minimal and wont effect the performance that you we feel, What youve got to remember is that we're talking about a filter on car with less than 350BHP, So what you feel either in more performance from the mod filter or the loss from the heat will be minimal. Stroeve do a filter that replaces the whole airbox section but nit does cost £120. Best tip is to buy a K&N remove the bottom section of your air box, cut off the part where the filter sit and attaches to the top section, put the filter in the part youve cut out and reattach it to the top section. Secure the box with cables ties. know feed cold air in from behind the grile next to the rad. because the bottom of the box is missing the K&N will handle the dirt or damp thrown at it. (just clean it when requried) :D

That sounds like it FUNKY, Black circular object with a bolt through the centre of it. with one thick insulated wire coming of it. on the front of the block. :D

KARMANN- CALL TSR OR CandR thats where ive orderd mine from. DUBCHAGRGED- the small section is only £22 and the price of £82 for the whole straight pipe is right. I orderd the short one a few months back and now im doing the rest of the system. :D

Took the plunge and went and ordered the........... seats :D . But went for the next ones up Corbeau RS2, bit more normal looking and black cloth with a hint of blue, as i thought like some people said the blue woud be too much for the C's interior. Decided against the engine mods after driving another EVO 8 today that i would never get performance like that from my C (and if i need power burst just take and EVO for a spin). Plus i'm stuck in traffic more and more these days. and the seats can come with me into the next C. :D
