What do you think of the one advertised below. Obviously needs a boss, possibly a Momo one might suit. http://s10.zetaboards.com/Club_GTI_East ... 608/1/#new

I replaced one in my VR6 about 8 mts ago and was told that I had got the last one that VWUK had. Might only be b+llsh+t from the parts guy. Try and order one and see, £28 from memory.

Need one of these my-self and was having a look on e-bay for parcel shelf straps/rubbers and found quite a few Ford Escort/ Fiesta ones on offer. They look identical to the Corrado ones and they are listed as being 12.5 inches long which is about spot on. Think I'll have a look in the local scrappy as there will be a helluva lot more Fords about than Corrados.

Simple question. Is the Euro spec OBD1 VR6 inlet manifold interchangeable with the inlet manifold found on UK spec cars.

You will see a row of drain holes along the bottom of the door if you look up from underneath. They are close to the outer skin of the door. When it rains the water gets into the door between the glass and the window scraper (the black plastic strip along the base of the glass). It then runs out through the drain holes. If the drain holes are blocked the lower part of the door fills up with water and from there it seeps into the car from behind the door card if the membrane is not there.

Has any-one received their 17x7.5 LM replicas as part of the recent group buy. If so have there been any fitment issues when fitting them to a VR6 with regard to caliper clearance. What is the general feeling with regard to quality, finish etc. Any comments welcome.

Just bought a VR6 Corrado and like every other one I've ever seen the rubber inserts in the roof rails have perished and all but disappeared. Is there any quick fix other than replacing the whole rail and if not where is the best place to obtain the rails? I remember pricing them for a previous car and I think they were about £80 a side from my local dealer. Any suggestions welcome.

Help - Central locking -location of motor/pump....
leon263 replied to G60-NeedMoorePoower's topic in Interior
I've had exactly the same problem on my Corrado so hopefully I can help. As already stated, the central locking pump is behing the carpet in the boot. On my rt.hand drive car it was behind the carpet on the rt.hand side but it may be on the left on a lt.hand drive car. As for the fuse, remove the fuse box cover and you will not see the fuse in question. There are three more fuses which sit above the fuse box out of sight and to access them it is necessary to remove the plastic part of the dash which sit directly above the fuse box cover (3 screws from memory) When you have removed this plastic cover you will see the three fuses. Check the fuse first and if it is blown, replace it and you can forget about the motor in the boot. I can't remember which fuse it is so check all three. If they are all intact then the problem could be with the pump. At least you now know where to find it
