Pagid 70152 ........... front flexi brake hoses
leon263 replied to leon263's topic in Parts for Sale
Sold to Easypops, many thanks. -
Here we have a set of two Pagid 70152 front brake flexi hoses for any Corrado from 1991-1995. Brand new, in their original packaging, they are 485mm overall in length and have a male fitting at one end and a female fitting at the other end. £14.32 each from Euro Car Parts. The car they were intended for has been sold so they are surplus to requirements. Asking price is £15 including postage for the pair.

Shortened the drivers side arm by 4cm, welded it together again, primed and painted .............. perfection, the best £35 I've spent in a long time.

Had a play with two Lupo passenger arms and standard Lupo blades. Passenger side is perfect but the driver's side is 1.5 inches too long when in the vertical position. I'll take 1.5 inches out of the arm, re-weld it and after a quick smooth, prime and some satin black I reckon I'll be there. Very neat compared to the standard wipers ........ well pleased. Many thanks to Supercharged for all the parts.

Good luck with the caliper carrier bolts. They are Allen head bolts and they will not want to come out. I did mine recently and finished up using Irwin Bolt Grippers to get them out. They are a right faff to get at and when you do the Allen key is a cert to round out the socket in the bolt. Everything else is straightforward as above. Just tap the ABS ring into place on the rear of the hub.

Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulley set for a VR6 WITHDRAWN FROM SALE
leon263 replied to leon263's topic in Parts for Sale
As far as I know this pulley set underdrives the power steering pump and the alternator and again I'm sure that they were on a 2.9 VR6. Just to double check, I have e-mailed the part numbers to two suppliers in the States and hopefully they will confirm my beliefs. Until then, I'll hold fire rather than mis-sell them. -
Sold to Science ................... many thanks.

I'll get a quote for postage to-morrow when the Post Office re-opens. Science has first refusal. Many thanks,

Looking to replace the plug leads on my '94 VR6 (coil pack engine). Any advice welcome on what to buy, what to avoid, what diameter of leads etc etc. No running problems but my recently acquired VR6 came with 5 red leads (hate that colour) and 1 black one.

Hi Dave, Please put me on the list for a short shifter. Drop me a PM when you require payment with amount, address etc. Many thanks. Bob Anderson

The term 'wobbly bolt' probably sounds a bit suspect but if you give them their proper name which is 'PCD correction bolts', then they don't sound so bad. I can assure you that there is absolutely no problem with these bolts, do you honestly think that they would be on the open market if there was. I ran 5x100 wheels on a 5x98 Alfa many years ago for over 3 years and 40,000 miles and I'm still here to tell the tale. You will need spigot rings to reduce the centre bore from 58.1mm to 57.1mm and assuming the the off-set is reasonably close to the VW off-set then you will have no problems.

I'll take those off your hands. You have PM

You will not need high temp. paint even for the manifold as it never gets really hot due to the cool air constantly passing throught it from the air filter. You can place your hand on it even after a run with no ill effects. The pic below shows mine which was painted using standard two pack and lacquer about two years ago and it still looks exactly the same.

The LED bulbs have a very low resistance and you will need to wire in resistors to rectify the problem. Do a search on e-bay for 'LED bulb resistors' and you will pick up a pair for around £6. Scroll down through the post below and you will find pictures showing the wiring required. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58695-Ben_Wooduk-s-Black-Corrado-VR-Number-3
