No big shakes for me as Im only staying over night on the Sunday. I'll be leaving early doors on the Sun morning so probably wont get there till midday.

You really have to ask yourself how they can make these so cheaply when other coilover cost close to £1k. Very cheap material and finish is the answer, they will probably last a year tops and if they see the winter probably shorter. Its a false economy and a waste of the car putting cheap suspension on a Corrado.

Not part of this deal, only 5 spoke flat face ones. Those are 18in by the looks of them as well. I believe that the order will only go through once everyone has paid thier deposit. -

I think the deposit is required before the order can start. -

Really, thats mental. I dont use locking bolts at all, too much hassle if the key gets lost. -

Wheels seats are straight taper instead of the VW radius seat. Its 60deg taper. -
We should do a forum trip. Its more my thing than shows TBH.

The VR ones are ok as well, newer Al alloy ones crack very easily. There is the Mk5 R32 sump option as well remember.
-
Dont need rev lights for MOT so just take the bulb out if you want to go all red.
-
The problem wtih sump guards is they obviously sit lower than the sump so if your low you will be hitting it all the time. I had one on my old 4motion Golf which was quite low and it was a PITA to be honest.

Ah yes found it. Anyone know the actual overall diamter including caliper for the standard / 288mm brakes? I can split this from this topic if you want. -

Gareth can you confirm that the drawing on the first page is of standard 280mm brake caliper dims? -
I'll be honest I quite liked mine. Was a very competent A to B car that did it with next to no fuss. I had decent suspension and a few tweaks to the set up. Was running a revo map as well as R32 brakes. I would have another. Cant really compare it to the Corrado but it as said mine would have walked away from a standard VR easily. I didnt have any issue other than having to replace the CCT but this more over caution than necessity. I liked the understated way they look as well, much prefer it to an R32. Here mine

I think the colour goes a long way to help. Will always be my favourite colour on these things.

Hahah just read Kev's reply, seems to echo my thoughts. They are built to be used and abused!!!!

Probably only 20% of the time but thats geenrally to make sure I have left light on or the windows down. You all have OCD of some sorts!! :cuckoo:  About the only thing I often do is check oil / water (but not always) then get in ans start driving and to a decent temp before giving it some. Oh and zero the petrol gauge when filling up but thats a force of habit from riding the bike as the odometer is used as the fuel gauge.

Welcome, whats a Corrard?
-
Tis very nice. Only thing I would change if it was mine would be the flat centre caps on the wheels.
-
Wow that does look good and the wheels will really set it off.

Quick question on this. How do they secure the cars when on the RR as I dont have the rear towing eye?

FYI when I spoke with James he confirmed that the 1st batch were manufactured so once everythings confirmed they could be out sharpish. I had to wait about 7-8 weeks for the TH2's. -

Exactly my thoughts. At least you can swap them round if required. IIRC on standard arches the max for the front is 35 otherwise the wheels starts pushing out past the arches. A 5-10mm spacer on front or back is easy to accomodate. -

I just went with silver ET35. Was tempted by Et25 but was more thinking of if I ever sell them then at least they will fit a standard VR. -
