If I did paint them it would only be red to tie in with the red Storm badges and wheel caps.

First MOT with me and................it failed. Only on rear brakes being 3% outside tolerance so an easy fix. No advisories which is good. Thoughts on painting the calipers red?

Car sounds good, you must love it if your selling you C4s for it, I had one and loved it. Tell you what I'll swap my Storm for the C4s if you want a spares car.......

I would agree, they do get tiresome sometimes. How about getting a part time replacement, even a 2.8, and then rebuild the original over time. Don't think a used 2.8 go for that much really.

If you have access to a body shop. It's over couple of grand already.

I've still got the original wheels to put on. The LMs are lovely and rare, just a lot of cash tied up in them which I could do with at the moment. Maybe try some other centre caps and red calipers.

Okay have a dilemma. I love the LM's however I cant help but think that this car should really be on std wheels, everything else about it other than suspension and exhaust it basically stock looking and the more I see them on the solitudes the more I like them. Therefore contemplating selling the LM's and using the money to tidy up the small bodywork issues and get the rear seats fixed + spare cash for when other things go wrong. Thoughts?

I maintain that alarms and immobilisers are more hassle than there worth. Im going to rip mine out when I get a chance.

I tried some Wynns Tappet additive for a little while then changed out oil and filter on another car and it worked.

Looks in amazing condition. I almost did a deal with these guys for a Integrale a couple of years ago, sooo wish I had now.

Is there not a difference between MK3 and Corrado cats? I'm sure I've heard of this before i.e. Different length cats.

Basically you want the Final Drive gear from a G60 box (and 3rd gear if you can) and that is put into a VR6 gearbox with your other standard VR6 gears. Its just a lower final drive so means you go through the gears quicker but lowers your overall top speed in each gear. Its not the diff itself your changing. Oh and Im sure its 3.68 not 3.65 from a G60. 3.65 might make it almost too low. http://www.mk2vr6.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=6601

Event attended this weekend. Local classic car show, from 1930's up. Parked up to a few guys I know through a local VW forum, another white VR6 and a Mk2 Driver. Some photos of the other sorts of things that were there.
