Remember, if it doesn't say "Micromachines" then it's not the real thing! Nice buy mate! :D I was contemplating one before the G60. So what's gonna be the first mod?

:D I can't wait to get this car sorted. I'm looking forward to next summer already! Ok, maybe getting a bit ahead of myself there. I'm already planning the work I want to get done at G-Werks next Spring though. It's important for me to have something to look forward to over the winter and I can think of few things better than a sorted G60! :D

Well, just an update. Have started the process of changing the brake lines. Jeeez am I glad you only have to do this once! What a pain in the neck. Three hours work and they're still not all done. Probably another three hours work to get it finished. And the brake fluid was like mud!

top gear, Sunday 8pm repeated wednesday 7pm BBC2

Where's the repeat? Has it been cancelled because of all the complaints? -
I've not tried mine either. I learned not to be too optimistic with the electrics shortly after I bought my latest G60 when I tried the manual spoiler button doohicky. The spoiler went up fine but the switch fell apart and it was a fecker to get back together so I could lower the spoiler again! There were two metal contacts that kept popping out of place when I was clipping it back together. In short I'd happily have a Rado with no sunroof.

That's awesome. With Rado-esque door mirrors too. :D

Help me to decide...Alfa 156 / 166 or Golf 4Motion
Sonicriot13 replied to Andy665's topic in General Car Chat
And the resale on an 'uber reliable motor' like any Alfa  is gonna be good? They're probably only low mileage cos they've been in the garage all the time  . I'd take the 4mo Golf any day 8) The man has a valid and interesting point. :D -

I wonder which one Stan thinks you should buy? I'd go for the 4mo all day long. In fact if it was a 3dr I'd probably have had that by now. -

I saw that Lambo at Goodwood this year. You think it sounds good on TV you should hear it in real life! :D -
Lewis - The Man from Del Monte He Say Yes!
Sonicriot13 replied to A1 VR6's topic in General Car Chat
Scum. That's all I have to say. Except for keep your eye on Vettel. I almost forgot about Lewis and Massa. What a drive! The guy's a legend in the making for sure. -

I know it's all scripted and blahdy blah but did anyone else think Clarkson was visibly shaken and looking a bit pale after he drove through that wall?! I thought the bit where they were trying to power slide their trucks was hilarious. That random bit that just flies off Jame's lorry, the whole thing just looked ridiculous! And Hammond's bonnet! -

What an awesome day of TV! I get to watch Alonzo crash into the back of Hamilton on the first corner of the Brazilian Grand prix sending them both flying off the track leaving Massa to take the championship on home soil. Then later in the evening I get to watch brand new Top Gear!     -
I like the vertical fogs on the mkVI golf. They look really cool. I can honestly say though, that the only time I turn my fogs on is to check I don't need to add them to the list of things that need fixing.
-
I don't know why, but I assume you're now going to buy a VR?
-
I know how you feel mate! I'm doing mine tomorrow! They were an advisory on the last MOT so thought I'd get them done before I finally lay the car up for the winter....
-
Yeah, and they still can't get cars out on time and within budget.... Well, Hyundai can't anyway.

There are some roadworks and those p!ss annoying temporary traffic lights outside our garage at the moment. I was moving some cars around on the forecourt yesterday and I noticed the demo Rocco from the vee dub garage down the road in the huge queue of traffic waiting at the lights. Personally I love the mk3 but I couldn't help thinking that if it was a Rado in the queue it would have grabbed my attention and stood out a hell of a lot more and looked a lot cooler for it.

Awesome pics! :D That mk1 is the dogs!

Role on next April when I have my MOT. I'm dreading it already even though I'll be getting a mate to do mine....
-
Cheers matey! :D I do clean it obsessively and when I'm not using the car I keep it covered which helps a lot. It's amazing how much it's improved since I've had it. When I first got it I thought the paintwork was beyond redemption for sure.
