its down to wear and tear obviously the harder you push anything mechancial the shorter its life will be but if you let everything get to a normal operating temp then surely its ok imho of course, but if you look at it this way ie 2 brand new engines both waiting til operating temp before right foot is planted then the one that revs to 6k and the one that revs to 4k the one that revs to 4k would surely be the better the engine as it hasnt been pushed as hard?? anyway just wait til nice and hot ie 90 and 90, your ok as long as serviceing has been done on schedule??? if its gonna break it will break!! its an engine afterall and nothing is really guranteed :( :lol:

no nothing on it jst the cut out in autotrader when i sold it :( :( it was purple/blue mettalic twin headlamps corsa gsi spoiler and that was it!! std 1.2 interior and dtm exhaust only real give aways to it were boost gauge on a piller and chargercoooler at front which wasnt really visible but if you new what you were looking at you would know what it was packing!!! got fed up of snapping driveshafts in half went thru 3 of em 1st one was courtneys own 400bhp plus it eat that then i got ones specailly made and tapered down to fit real ball ache was that!! great in a straight line but you couldnt go round bends quick!! reg number off top of my head was N59 CKC

its a great feeling when you first get in one and nail it!!! the sound is just awesome and roars for england!!!!

i would say yuopr water is tooo hot sorry just read my last post and the 104 at constant 90 was referring to the oil!! thats the hotttest it got water never went over 90 also just coz thermostat was new doesnt mean it wasnt faulty or isnt faulty now you know. it was roasting yesterday and i bet mine was running hot accordingly so presume mine should run alot cooler on a nice cool day??!! change thermostat?? can you hear fan kicking in??? dont know about specs for parts etc leave that to one of the teckies??!!
