Just had to say as well that Button was gash all weekend.....not a good start :? I wish him well......he will need it
-
....yeah at the beginning they were 8-9 seconds off the qualifying pace  ......how does that make for the ultimate race series :cuckoo: Although as I posted before, I don't think the actual track itself helps give you any perception of speed.....so even though they were actually going quite slow at the beginning they even looked like they were going slow, which is peculiar for F1 IMO :?
-
That really was dull as dishwater  ..... Also I really dislike some of these new tracks that are just plonked in the middle of deserts - they make for really dull viewing, you get absolutely no sense of speed and there is no atmosphere surrounding the place. Even when the racing was dull at least on the older, more traditional tracks, you felt a little bit more part of the action !! Roll on a few months time when the parade comes to Europe.

Off topic but is that you in your aviator Owen VR6 ??.....I know we have chatted a bit before about skiing and that is a great picture if it is you !!
-
some peoples efforts baffle me sometimes  brilliantly bad !!

Dont think I would ever buy one myself but I can see the attraction :norty: over the years its gone from a cool architects car, to a gangster drug dealer ride (in soft top form only), and now back to being cool in a retro way.......mind you the picture you have there isnt the most flattering - looks like a bread van  -
no way keep the 50mm mate ..... much more befitting (is there such a word  ) with the corrado understated style. I think for some reason the 90mm looks a bit tacky - especially on a storm :norty:
-
oooo tough one !!! Dont think I would ever buy one, chiefly because its an Escort at the end of the day, I'm not 25 anymore and the mrs would never get in it with me......but I saw a mint one the other day in a petrol station and I did take an admiring second glance :confused4: Talking of 90's legends, I can't believe some of the high prices of low mileage Delta Intergrales at the moment - again problem is I would also be driving around a lot on my own in one of these
-
I love these wheels, arent they the ones that Lancia Delta Intergrales used to wear ?? To be honest not totally sure about having them on a corrado  , but will reserve judgement until we see them on. :)

Oh god that made me feel a little ill :pale:

I'm defo a snob when it comes to supercars, I dont think even if I had the money I would do such a thing to a supercar.......however that is not to say I dont appriciate the effort and skills invovled. I think that when you do something like that its impossible for people not to pass judgement - good as in your case, and bad as in my'n. Either way, I kind of think that he probably doesnt give two shits what any of us think.
-
It looks well finished from the pictures but seriously what was the point......surely you do these kind of things to end up with something desirable and superior to what you started with - they have achieved neither IMO
-
we will be the judge of that
-
sounds controversial, look forward to it
-
£600 great find, dont usually like colour coded wheels but yours look pretty darn good :D Got big plans then ?

People who like to think their cars are great but aren't.

My mate has a 220 coupe turbo - thats a fast Rover 200 1.8 - not so fast Rover plonker  -
I think you could go on forever talking about faults and problems that cars may or may not have......best advise I think is to go with your gut instinct : if it doesnt feel right then it isnt right, so walk away !! Buying second hand cars is scary sometimes though, especially if you have been looking for ages - my mate spent 8 months looking for the perfect 330i and then found one, got stage fright and walked away from it  ......he still hasnt got one !!
-
liar its mine ......remember reading a thread ages ago about a guy who pretended he had an Audi RS2 or something and posted pictures of it and rambled on about 'his' car on an Audi Forum.....only to be rumbled half way through by the real owner  losser. Edit : I know you were joking by the way millerman !!
-
Spotted dark blue VR with black solitudes on prima road Brixton........might want to move it John  had a parking fine mate :brickwall:
-
Your C looks awesome as it is........you will regret this :nono:
-
Just read the vast majority of your thread...... :notworthy: Love the way it looks at the moment, defo keep fogs in IMO......love red rears on dark c's aswell. sorry if I missed it somewhere obvious but what colour is it  ......moonlight blue ??
-
....... that is sooooo true - such a bad move for button IMO !! I think Alonso is going to be awesome in the Ferrari this year - but thats a pretty safe predictable thing to say really.
