To be fair though, your engines not exactly done that many miles has it ;) just the chassis and most of that would be new :lol: Mine's on 160,000 now. The old engine was still perfect at that mileage as well, although we did do headgasket and chains etc. New engine's a bit less than that though 8) .....I was gonna say that about kevhaywire but I didnt want to be checky :lol:

Yup I would say defo change oil filter with every oil change budy......especially considering it doesnt cost much.

I reakon from the outside at least the corrado is still one of the best standard looking cars on the road......In complete contrast I think its one of the worst shapes to try and modify, there are even some shady examples floating about on here :norty: .......anything more than a wheel upgrade does the C no justice !! Buy standard all day long for me......and then make MINOR tweaks :grin:

....totally agree mate about whats out there at the moment, theres a lot of car for little money, GTV included. I just said it as I have a GTV cup, (since new) and its build quality is dreadful, my VR is in better shape inside and its 10 years older :eek: ........both great cars though.

I've had the lower part of my air box drilled so you cant see its been done.....cant help you with the size of the holes as my mechanic did it !! All I can say is that it makes it sound WAY louder high up the rev range, but you can still poddle round lower down the revs and it sounds 'normal', which I really like. I'm pretty sure it made no difference to the performance, but they do say louder noise gives a greater sense of speed - so everything helps in one way or another I suppose :lol:

would have loved to 'experience' a brand new corrado :) .........or brand new anything for that matter :lol:

Excellent season, who would have thought this time last year that Button would be champion, ferrari and Maclaren would be rubbish and shuey would possibly make a return......great stuff. Thanks The_Dude for organising F1 league, didnt pay as much attention to it as I thought I might be able to but next season will be a different story :D Roll on 2010, Buemi to be champion, Brawn and Red Bull to be Rubbish and Damon Hill to make come back in rebranded Arrows BMW Sauber......that would be fun :clap:

I've been in one or two impreza STi's (pre 2000's) and as far as pure performance is concerned my standard VR wouldnt know which way they went if I'm honest......but which would I prefer to drive and have in my garage is a different story :norty: Am I the only one that actually quite likes the boxer engine note then :scratch: Good luck with the project though matey.
