Is it a standard Rado colour then ? :scratch: Times must be getting difficult for TCS with current market and now advertising on the Bay

Not hundred percent sure of where they stand on Modded cars, but I have just re-insured with Sky Insurance......really competitive and helpful.

I know its been 'done' to death on here, but in all seriousness it does often surprise me that Joe public's knowledge (or lack of !!) of the corrado is based more around the G60 rather than the VR ........maybe because it was the first quick version and thus had more advertising time :scratch:

Absolutely phenomenal race, loved every second of it.......this season, despite Vettels dominance, has been so entertaining so far. I really hate to say it but it seems the new technical changes really are making for a 'better' F1......I thought it would be really artifical, and at first I thought it was, but as Im getting use to the changes and concentrating more on the actual race I find myself ignoring them and just really liking the action. Shame Schuemacher didnt get on the podium, its great seeing such a legend mix it with the current crop !!

100% agree with that aswell, I posted something similar on another forum not long ago......the Lewis on Schumacher overtake illustrates this perfectly, I seem to recall Brundle saying despite all of Schumachers 'annoyances' you know you can pull moves like that on him as he wont just turn across you.......unless it means him winning the title of course and then, I dont care what anyone says, anything goes with ALL the drivers - its just the majority havent been in that position !!

I once was backing my vespa out of the garage and 'bump' into the rados rear quarter with the storage box.......oh my bloody dear god :censored: I got so annoyed I hastly put the vaspa on its stand to investigate the damage to the C, only to turn around and find the Vespa on the floor - in my haist I didnt put it on its stand correctly and it ended up falling on its side with some 'lovely' fresh scratches......on my bloody bloody dear god :censored::brickwall: how to trash your vehicles in one fell swoop !!

.....just seen what you wrote there mate and couldnt agree more, it takes two drivers to make a 'good' overtake, and I think this is lost on a lot of drivers who just turn in !! Lewis's comments were ridiculous after the race and yes he made some mistakes in the race, but he showed his worth when Schumacher overtook him. Looking forward to Montreal.

I'm not technically gifted enough to tell you if that would work or not buddy, but I'm presuming you will need a bloody big shoe horn to do that.......isnt there someone else on here that's putting a VAG V8 in a corrado :scratch:

Yeah I changed all four anyway mate.........apparently its all to do with the rolling raduis of the tyres - if they are too far apart from back to front it will damage the centre diff. Been reading a lot about it recently and it divides opinion massively.

Don't Jim, before I bought it someone told me they have similar running costs to a Porsche which I kind of strugged off to be honest, but I'm expecting large bills really. For example, had to buy two new front tyres this week - which I obviously knew before I bought it - problem is there are vicious rumours (created by Audi I would presume) that you shouldnt change just two at a time with the quattro system - you should change all four. I have a reciept in the history of two tyre changes in the past, both of which are for FOUR tyres totalling £800 :suprised: ....... so after much deliberation with my local tyre guy I decided to do all four with some Kuhmos for £475 - if I had done it with the original bridgestones it would have been an £800 bill.......ouch. Dont get me wrong I was well aware this car is going to cost me, but sometimes the things you think are simple have a habit of smacking you in the face :lol:

Morning all, Well I thought I would do some blatant showing off as I have finally found and bought an S4 ......:dance: It took 6 months and much deliberation but I finally decided to take the plunge......it's a B6 with the 4.2 V8 and its great to drive. Loads of in gear performance with deceptive pace. It only has 37k on the clock, with full Audi history (I know thats not necessarily a good thing :bonk:) and half leathers.......body work is mint and so is interior. To be honest the decision was mostly down to not wanting to get rid of the rado, so having found a garage to sit her for a while I'm happy on all fronts. Anyway, what do you all think - I know the seats wont be to all tastes

I used to go to Crystal Palace park everyday to walk the dog as a kid.......its so wierd to see car racing around the park that I used to pretend to race around on my BMX :) I cant believe I never knew about this event though :scratch: .......would defo be there if it wasnt for the fact I'm away on a stag weekend :bonk:
