I wanted to stop but I thought it would be the last thing he would want some guy chatting about his car. It was much more than a bumper job......rear quarter was caved in by the looks of it. I think it had all red rears, still the standard leather and solitudes ...... if thats any help identifying it. From the brief look I had it looked in pretty good nick.

Oh dear I saw something pretty depressing on the way home from work this evening. Riding (moped) behind a que of traffic through Brixton (Atlantic Road) and spotted a couple of cars ahead a rather fetching looking green storm......lost it at the next set of lights but then caught it up again at the next zebra crossing where some doughnut in a Crysler Crossover thingy had smashed up its rear. Rado was still drivable but looked like right off :pale: .... guy who got out looked gutted, anyone on here ?

Looks nice, love the nets on the Recaros - very 80/90's cool

Come on Bud, this has got to be the laziest Projects thread ....... we all like white C's so tell tell :thumbleft: !!
-
Very neat :thumbleft: welcome
-
VR6 you can have my Corrado VR for 2.5K ...... 93K on the clocks, full leather, weitecs, moonlight blue, cobra full closure, full history etc...... was thinking of putting it up in the New Year. Come on you know you want to stay in a Rado ;)
-
I like the colour :camp: Why only £10 tax ?
-
 ....... that tickled me for some reason ........ but agreed !!
-
I vote kill his dog
-
Have you tried on either of these yet ..... http://www.rs246.com http://www.audisrs.com ...... both very helpful forums
-
.....thats what I thought, a sort of angular solitude to suit the cars angular 80's style.
-
There you go fella, like London Bus' - mention one and three come at once :D Better safe than sorry then would be most peoples advise here.
-
Yeah pretty much correct......a good VW mechanic will be able to 'hear' if the chains need doing as they tend to rattle when change is required - although as with everthing there are horror stories of quiet but near to death chains !! Most, due to the age of the car, get them done to be sure and usually at around 100k.
-
Thats really clever ...... :thumbleft:
-
I have browsed this website before and lost days :D Literally all the stock looks immaculate ...... would love to see some of them in the flesh to see how good they really are - although to be honest its clear they are not just 'tart' up jobs. Personally my favourites at the moment are the 635i's :luvlove:

Nice RS mate....you on the Audi scene then - those pictures at that meet look familiar - the Yellow RS saloon owner is a regular on RS246 isn't he ? EDIT : just noticed the white buckets as well :thumbleft:
-
Yeah possibly I suppose ....... it might just be cheaper stock Audi products not wearing as well - my old mans A4 is the same, the alcantara on his steering wheel and gear knob are completely bald to the point where you wouldnt even know it was alcantara and thats a 57 plate on 30k miles :confused4:
-
My Audi has done 37k (so very similar miles of alcantara use as yours then) and has just started to 'bubble' ...... has yours not yet ? I think that (my) wear rate is pretty poor to be honest.
-
Sorry Portent I think both 'types' of sticking look awful  !! Half Alcantara is nice though, I have it in my Audi, but just bare in mind it doesnt wear very well. If yours is a weekend toy then fine but I wouldn't recommend it for a daily.
-
....^^ I had to google that :) CH's look immense.
-
Top work mate, love the colour. Like the way you have gone back to the original grill :thumbleft:
-
Nice car Alan ...... red is pretty rare for the R32 isnt it ? The only thing I was never quite sure about with the MkIV R32 were the seats - they look super comfy but really 'bloated' if thats the right word, as opposed to the corrado's svelt numbers !!
-
I question this cowboys loyalty myself  Keep the 'dull' posts coming Kev - I think most of us find them very interesting
-
Tan Vr6 thats interesting, so there are still buyers out there who are prepared to pay a little extra for the lower mile ones !! Good News all round ...... not because of that what-so-ever but my'ns going up soon unfortunately :(
-
Yeah reading the 2nd post it suggests he's bought it to sell it ..... I think !!
