Seriously andy that now looks spot on. Good work. I thought the seats may be a little high for you! You got any plans for doorcards?
-
Have to agree both the corrado wheels look cack in my opinion. Love my 300mm momo, took a day or so to get used to it but now anything else just seems wrong. Roundabouts and tight corners are great fun. Just cant see the dials, but who looks at them?
-
Im getting my first place and cold do without the fuel bill! Not 100% yet, Im driving it like a grandma to see if it can get a decent mpg. How you getting on with the seats? Im going to do Nikkis mini seats soon I think.

Hub adapters are expensive (ish) so make sure you buy the correct width first of all. I ended up with 3 pairs as one of the first sets were too thin and the wheel looked lost in the arch. Best bet would be asking if you could borrow one from somebody and see how they fit. Then measure if you want more poke or tuck. The offset of the wheels should be printed et** on the wheel somewhere, cant remember where on d90s. If you post that up Im sure someone will be able to suggest something.

I cant figure out whats going on with them, is the bottom part (black bit) replaceable? Or is that the sump? Im pretty retarded when it comes to engines.
-
Is anyone running a shallow sump on their engines eg, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vw-Audi-Seat-skod ... _632wt_941 OR http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/RARE-GOLF-1-8-TUR ... 1712wt_941 I could really do with one of these but am not completely convinced It will make much difference. Any thoughts?

Mud flaps AND Venoms... legendary! New dash colours have turned out nice.

Yeah I just wanted a change really so the bbs had to go. I've always wanted a set of these so when they turned up at a stupidly low price I had to have them, put the final nail in the coffin for the rms. Cleaning them is a full time occupation. I bought the seats and doorcards already trimmed but did the pillars, headlining and parcel shelf. Im really sketchy about lowering it more because of the sump. But I might have a quick go at the weekend. Good luck with the T5 $$$$$$$$$$$$$!

Sounds good. I cant decide what finish to get on mine. Currently chrome powdercoat. Isnt it doing your head in going backwards and forwards between this and the for sale thread?!!! -

Blimey like yours too pal. I used to have a black 16v on d90s. Have to be one of the best wheels for a rado. Also well done for pulling off the totally smooth front bumper. I think it looks gash on some cars but suits yours perfectly. What finish do you have on the wheels? -
With 205 40 16 on the rears you will need a bit of rolling to clear. I had some 225s on my 16x9 et15 and ended up getting some serious arch flaring done to clear, then put 205s on and have loads more room!
-
Well back to my favourite car park for some pictures of the Full interior change, Passat sunroof, New wheels, New arches and a US front bumper. Im going to get some bigger spacers all round as the arches were done to clear 225 tyres, now ive got 205s and lots of room! ALL ABOUT THE GIRTH

Get some from a different car and modify the frames maybe?

Im pretty sure its a scam too, I'm not completely stupid (just quite). Other than forged banknotes I just cant see how the scam works. Either way I'll humor them until they turn up at my door and bum me, then I guess it'll lose its charm. So far they have none of my details and if they do want an address to come view the car it'll be a good few miles away from where its parked! My favorite scam ever comes from phonejacker, Pigeons have gotten into you bank account and we have been sent in to steam clean the notes!

Well I got bored of the oem+ look pretty quickly, I kept seeing rados that were pulling off Rm's better than mine so got on the hunt for some new rims. Also picked a new interior up earlier in the year and have been retrimming lots of stuff to suit it. And a Moonroofs gone in. What started up as a potentially quick and cheap project has now officially wrecked my savings, but its been worth it. Us front bumper is getting fitted tomorrow and hopefully over the weekend I'll clean it and get some pictures up of the car as it is so far. Heres so in progress pictures, some are over 6 months old.

Well the cars currently parked in asda carpark in poole BH15 1JQ, but the central locking just packed up and we had to leave all my girlfriends jewellery and cash on the passengers seat with the car unlocked whilst we are shopping. Can you also believe the keys stuck in the ignition?!!

The plot thickens!! Scam or not this is quite fun! I SENT The car is located in Langton Matravers, Dorset, South of england *******IT ISNT!!!*******. Whereabouts is your friend coming from? If you send me your friends number I'll give him a ring as soon as I finish work tomorrow. THEY SENT Thats great. If i'm not mistaken right now he's living in London but location is not a problem since this is his job (he is an employee of the Maltese trailer driver that ships cars to Malta, so he does this very often). It is not our first time buying a car from England so exportation should not be a problem. However can you please ring him in the afternoon? because in the morning i will have to contact him to let him know about this since i've just seen the advert this evening. First thing tomorrow i will contact the guy with the trailer again and email you the number of the guy in UK coming to pick it up. Thanks a lot The email address is a hotmail.com one. Reason Im bothering with this is we need the cash as we are in the middle of buying our first house, most other offers have been basically terrible. I forge cash all the time so know what to look out for.
-
Yeah every time Im asked where it is I just say its in the village near to me anyway. I've asked for the contact in the uk's number so I can bother him instead. It is written in really good english too. "If you do go ahead with this, might be a good idea to have a intimadating looking mate or a few with you just to be on the safe side." I always arrange viewings at my mums and shes pretty intimidating.
-
But if someone arrives with cash, wheres the risk? Thats the only way I'd ever sell a car. I does sound dodgy though, I always reckon if it sounds like a scam then.. it is. I've asked them to send me their friends number anyway.
