I´ve been looking into the Leon Cupra R here, its the only car that comes close imho, I like the RX8 but something tells me No no no, the 350z is too pricey and plasticy inside. There will probably never be another C, so over the past week i´ve been thinking why bother trying!!

BTW, Nice clean looking Motor. I know what you mean about the wheels, there a nice wheel just look at little busy for the C.

BTW guys HID kits are illegal unless fitted with Auto (not manual) leveling and Headlight washes

I brought a can of Holts engine bay clear a few months back allong with what i can only call a cow's tooth brush, well went at the engine bay today with both in hand, I can honestly say its the best cleaner i've used, effortless cleaning, my head looks new in places, and the cam cover is nice and clean too. the bolts almost look new!! BTW Im now back on the Road after a few weeks of insurance hunting!! Good she felt good this morning (battery was flat though) me thinks a new battery is in order!! the heat here kills them.

The standard fuel pump and clean filter should be fine, the unused fuel is pumped back to the tank IRRC.

I would just add, remove the cap, then replace it to seal the system so the tank wont drain out to much coolant

If you havn't run it for a long time the Air con gas will leak through the seals in the compressor, this is becasue the oil in the system doesn't flow through it, the seal then dries out and it leaks, get the pressure checked and go from there!

My old G60 started to run a bit strange this week, not really pulling that well, anyway, i had my new zorst section fitted today and i thought that might solve it (no more tiny hole) anyway no such luck, got home let the old girl cool down and starting checking things over, found the pipe from the throttle body to the ECU had a hole in it due to the heat from the engine. snipped it off and hey presto!! sorted, No the question is, is it hose that is ment to be exactly 1m long? cos i've got about 1.5cm of it on the garage floor.

7. Check the rad for signs of coolant leaks!!

I changed my flange for the new modified version that VW sell a few weeks back, slight water leak now gone!!

I hate spains insurance system I´m having major trouble finding third party fire and theft cover for my G60 this year the best i can find is 3rd party only. on my car there is no way i would do that!! so i may have to sell her :cry: Cant really afford not to have theft cover. i can face not having fully comp but its stupid. :mad:
