car gone into the bodyshop on monday and i should get it back early next week, having all the underside waxoiled aswell while its there. so while it was there i took the headlights out and used the Lamin-x film i bought on them to tint them and took them apart to paint the seperator bit black. here are the pics of the lamps and i will take some pics of the car when she gets back!

7.5 x 16 think they are et25 mate... will check on that when i get back to em lol only think with it is that if i get em done how they are now in less than a year they will want the rims doing again!

Right, gonna get the schmidts refurbed as they are corroding on the lips (which sucks a bit but hey ho!) but unsure what to do, should 1 - i get em redone as they are and have the lips polished and laquered 2 - get em redone and have the lips painted a different silver or lefty unlaquered and just polish em 3 - get the centres painted a bit darker or the same as the car and either have the lips painted silver or same as either above! opinions on a postcard or any other ideas. im thinking that having to polish them qould be quite difficult cause they aint the easiest wheel to get your fingers into, am quite liking the idea of painting the centres a bit darker and painting the lips silver but dunno if it will look poop, just means that the lips wont corrode! and if anyone is decent with photoshop then could you have a whirl at making the centres darker or the same as the car, i tried and arsed it up then lost instrest! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2344/451 ... f7ca_b.jpg

IF the current shocks are in mint nick they wont be after maybe 3-4 months of running them on 60mm springs!, even the cheapest coilovers are only about £300 or about the same for an average set of shocks/springs. save the pennies and either get a set of 30/40mm decent springs only and make sure your shocks are good or save and get a full kit!

no the arches are the same its just the track width is more on the vr so the wheels stick out further even with the same offset!

to sit it as low as ballys is then i rekon you would need quite a bit of arch work on a vr. if i remember correctly, bally has had arch work done aswell, maybe just to flatten the lip off like. ive had my arches rolled to get the 9's to stop catching so much but i still got about 20mm of coilovers to go before im at the bottom!

silver 16v(i think( looked like it had sebrings on leaving scarborough this aft. had some sort of vinyl on the roof. i was passenger of a transit so didnt get seen!
