sweet, gotta love the sound of bike carbs :D did you do the conversion yourself or get someone else to do it for you? - what engine is it you have you car is looking well also 8)

am thinking about taking the wheels to have some machined off the wheel backs. it hink it will only need maybe 3 or 4 mm so gonna get 3mm taken off. are the discs on the G60 the same idea as the VR, ie they are your hub aswell, if so what did you do because teh wheels bolt into the discs on the VR by the looks of things, is it more recommended to have some taken off the discs or the wheels. the wheels have a decent amount of metal behind them still. Add i have been on the PM to bally. seems he has had a decent amount of archwork done overall, starting to think i should of got him to do more to the arches lol but nm :D

that looks so nice. wish i coudl afford to get mine resprayed decentlly

i think im gonna have to go for 205/40 seen as the 215 still catch slightly, on the back. this is after i have had arch work done, i could raise the car a bit but i didnt want to really. lol. i can get hold of yoko parada's and avon tyres fairly cheap but i was wondering if anyone knew if they would stretch easy enough onto the 9" rims. also is there anything else i can do to try and stop the catching lol :) ive heard something about shaving the4 discs down but i dunno if its true or not?

looks mint on those rims mate, what width are they? 7.5 or 9?? :) sits really well also. how low is it?

I managed to leach some from the rep and i promised i would put something up on it when i did :) lol I wasnt sure what to expect, being used to using the Dodo Juice stuff i wasnt sure weather to expect it to be outstanding. it wasnt what i expected. it made the car shine, was SOOOOOOO easy to apply, bit of a bitch to get off but no harder than leaving any other wax a tad too long. but i found that it left oily sweeps on parts of the car. mainly the bonnet and the roof. then when later in the day i notcied i had missed a tad. i wiped it off and it left a massive streak on the car. it might be the fact that i just washed then waxed the car which is putting it ontop of the dodo juice. might be that you have to do a full autoglym wash/polish/wax setup to get the best results. i doubti will be buying it, i shall spend my money on the dodo juice lime prime and get another dodo juice or different wax. it certainly did make the car shine but i knew there were little bits that i wasnt happy with PICS Conclusion if you havent used any other waxes then its top banana. so easy to apply, laid out in plain english what to do and does exactly what it says on the tin BUT if you have used anything from the dodo juice range or anything that its roughly the same price or more i belive you might be dissapointed. not what i was hoping, i thought this might bring autoglym back to one of the top brands for products. but everyone is good at making certain things and it seems they havent sussed the wax imo. :)

i watned these when i first got my C, i actually had them on order for some time in 9" all round, then the place where i was getting them kept putting me off. so i sacked it off and got the schmidts. with the time its taken me to put these on i probably could of waiting for the Keskins to come in. but to answer you immediate question, dunno lol, even if they did, surely you would only need a 3mm spacer to fix it :)
-
off with it mate :) dont like to follow in trend but it will look miles better imo with it off :)
-
the 80 and 84 is just the load rating, as long as what you have no now is less than 80 or equal to those tyres will be fine, i dont lik ehaving oddball tyres cause im weird like that tho so id have to change 2 of em so they matched on the axles lol
-
looks cool imo. dont think i would have them but i quite like them, as said i love the wheels on the 106, wish i could of gone to big bang, im hoping i can goto bug jam cause it was mint last year!
-
really looking forward to seeing the end product with what i can see goin on here, are you getting anything done externally apart from obvious wheels lowered etc, or you going for the sleeper look?
-
Just lowered the car a bit more last friday, got it washed and used the new autoglym wax - didnt like it but it looks shiney :D. put the wheels on for a quick snap, going to widewheels this week to get the artches done so gonna drive there with the front 2 on and the rear 2 in the back of the car :D PICS! dunno if i think it needs to go a tad lower, not much tho, wanna see how much it catches if it does when ive got the wheels on and the arches done. think the paint might crack so will be getting them done as much as needed to stop the wheels touching, with the paint splitting a bit on the back of one of the arches i aint too bothered about it :D w9ill put pics up of it being done when im there and will get some from when its done but that its for now

Any VR owners felt the need to get a 2nd car?
Philuk replied to Veearrhsix's topic in General Car Chat
if i had to use my car as a daily then probably, altho it gets much better MPG than my old car did and that was a 1.8 and i used that as a daily for ages! lol
