Agreed :D After replacein the original exhaust on 116somethin thousand miles, was bit relectant for another stainless steel exhaust after the scorpion on my previous car which knocked about and was not a great fit. But the magnex vr system is great and quiet too.

Mk3 handles are different to late Corrado handles.

I know a place near Norwich that does wheel refurbs for 100quid a set, they currently doing my old Kahn's in anthracite colour, think its called that anyway, kinda dark grey. and they take the tyres off, 200quid and he dont even takes the tyres off, :lol:

Hmmm might give that a go :D , but as said the air sucked in is gonna be warmer then if the hose is stickin out somewhere.

I used to have a mk2 golf gti and changed for a 1.8 16v Corrado, was kinda dissapointed with the go in it too start with, gettin used too given it a bootin as opposed to the golf 8vs low down power took a lotta gettin used too. Although it was so much more rarer and superior to the golf its a great car and handling is great but after a while needed more power and was easier to buy a vr6 then start messin around with the 16v engine. I think a Corrado is one of only a v few cars that i would sell a mk2 gti for, keepin in the same "circle" price range etc.

Give the S3 a try, rekon i would if i could afford too. After drivein other cars though i do like gettin back in my C, nothing i've driven gives me more enjoyment, rattles can do u in though, i just turn the music up. If you dont like the S3 like said u can always sell it and buy another rado.

I noticed this tonight on mine, usually it takes no time to get up to 90, but after a quick run for a takeaway and home did not go above 80, maybe it was just the cold weather and taken a while to get warm. oil temp was up to 104 though at one point and cabin air was lovely and hot. Have to keep an eye on it i guess probley just me being paronoid probley, just seemed strange seein the temp gauge sittin as low as the petrol one.

Maybe its a Corrado from the Chernobyl region of Russian. :)

What size tyres they have on them Pablo? I just bought some TT comp pro's (the chrome ones) for a rather bargain price, but they have 225 tyres on them. still debatein as to just leaveing them as they are and stickin them on Ma's mk4 or gettin my new tyres switched off the BBS.

Sorry to hear your tale of woe, henny, but like said it could have been a lot worse and at the end of the day its only a car with a bit of bent metal.. I think if my car ever gets crashed/stolen i couldent handle/afford another C and would have to make a change.
