  1. did the cat come with the engine?? :D awesome work and skills, cant wait to see the end result...
  2. i bought a set of 5 recently with good tyres for £45 including the centre cap's.. personally think they suit the corrado really well and look brilliant on mk2 golfs and polo's.. put some pics up etc.. i might be interested.
  3. but selling 4x6" D90 its a little bit difficult. All of us want larger wheels :brickwall:[/quote:lxlh1wab] im sure someone would have them on e38, if not sell them individually as spare's, or worst case scenario chuck them on ebay... im after a set of 928's in 8j all round but i tihnk the only way im going to do it is by buying two sets :?
  4. keep an eye on ebay, get another set and then sell all the 6's... 8's all round ftw :D
  5. pop down to a scrappy and see if theyve got any of said mx5's, whip the mirrors off and have a look at the fitment etc... im gona hazard a geuss at saying that they just bolt onto where the existing corrado mirror's fit? surely it cant be too hard? imho id keep the corrado mirrors..
  6. 8's are et52.3... im running 20 or 30ml adaptors on mine cant remember which, but they are 8's all round.. have a look through my members gallery to see how it sits.
  7. i only need one, money's not a prob just want them all to be the same, would happily buy 4 new ones but the ones i have are specific to the seat..
  8. i foind the surfex hd is good at getting most things off, literally spray it on agitate it with a brush or cloth and then rinse off, worth a try.. tho the clay bar should remove the tarr.. im a big fan of cg stuff too and have a simliar collection to youors, though ive just bought the jetseal 109 and am looking forward to using it, wasnt cheap tho! deffinately get yourself another gritguard, can be expensive but so much cheaper then scrathing the paint with stones and debris lodged in the cleaning mitt.. really love the colour of the wheels..
  9. im glad im not the only one that spends hideous amounts of money on cleaning kit... good work. where did you get the shelving and draws from as i should really do all this with mine, and also where did you get the cg bucket? do you use a two bucket method with the grit guards? if not then i can seriously recommend it. another product you might want to try is surfex hd degreaser, its awesome stuff will clean up anything effortlessly..

  13. well that is an absoloute last ditch im afraid, as im pretty sure these levers are unique to the seats, so id like to keep them original as they are a little bit special.. bit like me
  14. lol, not v well, i can often be found sat in the corner of the room foaming at the mouth rocking back and forth.... :cuckoo: :D
  15. here you go, pics are woefull but i hope you'll get the idea..
  16. okay bit of a strange one then, i need a recaro tilt lever. still available from the main dealer, have already bought one but its not the same.. i believe that capital seating sell them aswell but am 100% positive that theirs are the same as the one ive just bought from the dealer. Anal: there isnt a huge amount of difference, hardly noticeable at all really but its something that will bug me till the end of time! :epicfail: so, is it a case of spending hours/days/weeks trawling through german ebay? or should i just have a quiet word with myself and get over it? advice/abuse/guidance all welcome.. :D
  17. yeh ive just refreshed the new posts and it does look a little strange lol.
  18. dumb moment on my part, thought id try and clean up my threads etc and get rid of the old one's
  19. Yep! Saving frantically for a VR still though... about 25% of the way to a reasonable one so far! Hope to accelerate that after xmas! good times, you going to keep the valver? everytime i hear a vr it makes me want one, got too unfinished business with the alpine and bordeaux first though..
  20. haha all in good time karl, everytime i look at them it puts a smile on my face. going to clean them at the weekend and get the dash in and then jobs a good un. all going well there will be pics up on sunday. did you get your seats in?
  21. i didnt get the leather trim no, it is actually seperate to the handle and circa £30 plus the vat at trade price! the handle itself was around £4ish iirc, cant find the reciept at the mo. part number for the handle is: 191 711 327 C 01 C the leather will just pull off along with the handle, buy the new handle, pop the leather boot on and clip it into the handbrake trim. good times! hth jim, have you still got the valver?
  22. looks alrite does that.. nice set of vag's youve had their aswell.. whats the specs on the d-90's?
  23. had the day off work today to go to the dentist as ive got a killer wisdom tooth causing ridiculous pain so after i had that looked at i took a trip to the stealership to relieve myself of a few pennies... had to go to hedge end peter coopers as my local dealership wasnt giving me trade discount even though i work in the trade :cuckoo: . heres what i got: new gear knob new handbrake trim new tilt lever for my new seats as one was missing new handbrake handle new bushes, bolts and washers for my old recaro's which i now dont need lol. enquired about the price of a new gear boot as well, trade price of £85 +vat, hmmm that will be a no then as mj interior's will hand make you one for £25! also retrimmed one of my stealth shelve's and was pretty happy with how it came out:
