Thanks, I've sent you a pm :D

Morning all, have a huge favour to ask. I'm after some number plate backing plates from these guys who were the supplying dealers of my Corrado only they won't deliver and I live in London. They're about £5 and can't imagine delivery being too much. Thanks for any help. Amit

Yeah, I hear he needs the money :D
-
The beauty of a free market and supply and demand. The rims are absolutely mint and have brand new tyres. Cheap 16" tyres new will cost atleast £50 surely? and these are 8"s all round. I'm sure he'll shift them.
-
Hey look, reserves met.
-
Thats exactly how my mate lost a £7k Passat tdi, be very very warned.
-
US market didn;t have them, they had auto belts and knee bars (where we have shelves) Late C's in Europe (exc. UK) and and Canada got them, some had passenger too in place of glove box but not sure if they were standard or option.
-
Lee, you're a nutter!! The C just gets better and better, can't wait to see what you do with it. BTW I notice some cabling for some pretty big ICE install
-
Flattery will get you everywhere mate. I plan on selling it once its standard. Good luck in the search
-
LOL, The scenes only big enough for one Mike Edwards and his 3 C's. The 16v will have to go soon, wish I could keep her but just wouldn't be able to afford it nor have the space. Thanks for the compliments guys. Jim, when you getting a C then, fancy a valver in moonlight blue
-
LOL, the 16v's not all that bad. I miss the thrashability of the 16v, put your foot down and instant response all the way to 6.5k revs whereas the VR seems lazy at first but when it goes damn she goes. Glad you approve Dave. PS thanks for moving.

Not had a chance to post on the group properly with pics so here goes. I've had a 2.0 16v for 3 years and its been a dream but just longed for more power and the aural pleasure of the VR :D Picked it up last week, its 21k miles 1 owner and FVWSH and old mot's from new. Its black with black cloth and thats pretty much it. Don't think I'll do anything too drastic to it in the way of modding it. It handles so great and the ride is wonderful at the mo, don't wanna ruin it. Thanks for looking. Amit

48k on my 16v, bought it with 29k 3 years ago and 21k miles on my VR, bought it with 21k miles last week :D

Don't buy that, its a cut and shut. Half morris minor half cortina with a kit! Thats Migs motor, here are some more pics of it Migs C Ask the man himself Amit

since you have a lalter C you will already have the same calipers as the mk3, it was the ealier C's that can be ungraded to this. mk4 the option. Have a look at eurocarparts web site under mk2 or mk3 golf and i think they have an upgrade kit which includes adaptors to fit the banjo style. HTH Amit
-
Bob, nice site other than being a bit hard to read but is there any reason we have to regiser just to view photo's? Cheers Amit
-
and not because i'm tight, ok I am  , but every time I've bought one to see the full ad its always been a dog. If I buy the car I'll buy you a pint Thanks.

I know what garage Alex's is taking his car to
-
looks like I was chatting sh!t, cheers for clearing up Sukh :D
-
Hey Majik, the one on Sukh's is a mk4 one. It was never an option on US C's. HTH Amit

No probs mate, was a good day apart from the standing for 5hrs!! Actually arrived bout 10 mins after the gate closed, even after driving like an idiot - was affraid they wouldn't let us in, prepeared a bs story and everything but they were cool.
-
Hi Matt, You have to rememeber people will only put up posts on a forum when they have probs with their cars. I'm sure most C owners experience no probs on a daily basis but no one will ever put a post on reading "Hey my C got me to work and back fine today" :D Having said that it does suffer from common probs you'd associate with any low volume production car. Have a look at the post with things to look out for. But once you get one, you'll forgive it for anything

Hey Sanj, is your's a K reg on 15" BBS's? think I've seen it down my road if it is in Southall. BTW you could try using those right angle brakcets from DIY stores to support the arm rest and get the trim panel where the ashtry sits from a VR or G60. Bit of a desi post this one hey
-
looking good Phat, what you got planned for the interior and when do you think you'll be starting and completing? Good to see you didn't go with the current breed of modders ie 20v T, its so last season :D Give me the sound of a VR over a dump valve any time (even better both combined  ) keep us posted on how you get on mate. Amit
