Try Greenlight mate, they were the cheapest for me. BTW I paid £2500 fully comp. for my first yr insurance at 21, WTF was I thikning but thats the price you pay to drive a C. I pay £1250 now and thats with 2 yrs ncb and all mods declared. The cars parked on the road and in London. Good luck.
-
Hi James, did mine with a fellow C enthusiast too. Fairly easy to do with the right tools. To make the job a lot easier get a garage to loosen the 2 nuts holding the struts under the bonnet on either side with a gun (safe to drive home with it slightly loose) and the 2 nuts on either side at the base of the rear strut. Wow, thats pretty special. I grew up around a lot of capri's in the area so hold a soft spot for them too Jim. I've seen them all including ones with Kat kit, the "rattle snake" with whale tail, the 280 (last of the last in brooklyn green and gey leather) and the Tickford, which conicidently was linked to Aston Martin, but can't remember how, Anyone shed some light on this? Some pics of the Tickford

Hi, here's a great write up: Heater blower fix be sure to try the bit at the bottom first, that fixes most of the probs. HTH Amit
-
Wow, nice capri, is it a 2.8i? Don't see many of those about nowadays, shame that Aston got in the way of the pic
-
Sorry I missed you. You going to E38? Its only up the road from you too so you have no excuse :D See you there maybe. Amit PS I dont mind mate

The plate was £399 from memory. I was at Woburn Abbey, thats where that pic was taken. But with such a fine selection of cars on the day it would not have stuck out.

Thanks for the compliment Bally. Kev, actually the ride isn't that harsh considering how low it is, harder than FK's I would say though. In fact, when its running on original wheels and tyres its quite good. I'm guessing its the skinny tyres?

For anyone that cares, its a '94 M reg Moonllight Blue 2.0 16v with 47k miles and I'm 2nd owner. Its got H&R coilovers (need the spacers on the back!) and sitting quite low. Delocked handles, In-Pros, the RC's, FK badgeless grill and Honda aeriel and I think thats it. Oh and tacky plate, C12 ADO Cheers
-
The good old RC, one of my personal all time favourites But then I'm biased  They have been discountinued for a while now in a 4x100 et33 fitment in 17" but are still available in the 5x100. Were the lightest production wheel in the world when they came out, sure they're still pretty much up there in terms of lightness. HTH
-
If you're going to change the mounts than upgrade to the later style (they were available on the later 2.0 16v and VR6). The doc attached shows exaclty what you need, everything on the later stlye page. HTH

Can definitely confirm Majik has the Campaign interior. (BTW thanks for the light Majik, sorry didn;t get a chance to say bye last night mate) Also remember seeing a few years a go a Campaign for sale on the CCGB site that had been reshelled.

I'm sorry to ask this but I'm very new to Corrados, how do you get main beam as I think I may have a problem, when I push the button on the right of the steering wheel all the way over and have seemingly headlights I pull the stork towards the steering wheel but if anything the lights get worse, I'm confused, can you help, I also have front fogs which I never had on my Golf but it is all confusing me compared to a Mk1 Golf, btw, my C is 1.8 16v G reg. Cheers, Paul

Before you replace the thermal fuse be sure to try out the bit at the very bottom of that link. HTH Amit (Edited for being a ijit)

did mine, used Castrol TAF-X and well worth it. Old stuff smelt like cat p!ss and looked like merky water and thats after about 40k miles, so no definitely not for life. I believe the the oil breaks down through its life and loses all its properties. Theres a drain at the bottom and a fill on the side of the gearbox. Open the fill first (don't want to empty your gearbox to discover you cant open the fill nut!) and then the drain. Put the drain plug back in and fill on the side using the bottle from underneath, you'll have to squeeze the bottle. When its full oil will pour out from the hole. Its a bit awkward. Replace fill nut. Job done.

Another Focal fan here :D I heard the 130v's and they souned the nuts so opted for their replacements the 130v2's. Waiting to be fitted along with my Genesis Profile 4 amp and Diamond Hex 10" Macdaddy sub (how can you say no to a speaker with a name like that!)
