viewtopic.php?f=2&t=11822&p=117391&hilit=mirror+glass+removal#p117391 i found this if it helps

yes basically there is a roller on a arm that bolts to the hubs that pushes the lip back a small amount with each pass ,if you use pliers its going to mark or kink the wing if your not very carefull , if your going to do any thing it would be a nylon hammer and to it small amount at a time i have done this in the past but take your time and dress the lip little amounts as evenly as possible but you may still split the paint good luck

now thats really nice looks a load better than oem and would match the tt conversion well (or lupo)

hi sounds like the relay is sticking to me pull it out when this happens and see ,as the relay will keep it going even with the ignition off

-
my mate has a set on his tt pre aerowiper so he thought he would put some on guess what , he put the normal ones back on as he could not see after 70mph as they were lifting off the screen centre first
-
yep there rubish they require more pressure from the arm and thats something the corrados dont have which is why there rubbish in the first place
-
I've still having problems sourcing these... I've already done a lot of research, but if you could have a look, that would be great. The connector range is called "Junior-Power-Timer". All i can find is a 2 way ones or 4 way (inline) female ones at the moment. Tyco make this range. (Free loom if you can find a supplier ;) ) Cheers, http://cgi.ebay.com/VW-CORRADO-Euro-Hea ... dZViewItem any good to you or is it all off cheers paul

agh right so the early wings and lights have a bigger gap than the later ones , cheers for the correction
-
go on there website and it seems there is no difference as they are listed from 90-95 so they have to be early style as the late type will not fit in early wings or i might be wrong, as the inpros gap more by the wings than the vr oems ,please correct me if so i dont mind this is how we learn :D

http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/visionperformanceuk i got mine here with a 2 yr guarantee its worth the little bit extra for the guarantee and its someone in the uk you can moan at if it goes wrong also they come an invoice and delivered next day proper job
-
Inpros ..there really easy to dismantle and as for outright light output they are great they make the oems look like candles in comparison ,then uprate the loom more light and also hids in them and they are better than the last car i had with factory hid lights , there is no glare to other road users at all as the projector in the inpros as with all projectors they use a plate for the cut off so its perfect also i would say the quality of inpros are as good as if not better than oem very impressed ,good alround package and worth every penny the second best safety mod i have done after tt wiper conversion :D

it would have to be black for me match the rest of the trim
-

its a case of what you like i am just not a chrome person , but each to there own my cars moonlight blue so they match really well to me any way and we all only have to like our own cars otherwise whats the point :) viewtopic.php?f=3&t=62590#p731307 there is some pictured here for an idea you either love em or hate em

i have just been through this choice is virtualy nothing you go oem which is still a load of poop or you go inpros or a substitute called sonar i have looked around and sonar are allright but was not keen on the plastic front instead of glass plastic tends to craze as do so many headlamps these days so i went for the inpros they are fantastic quality as good as oem if not better i do not like the angel eyes but they are not that bright , i went for the black ones they look a lot better the chrome looks to flashy for me ,the light output was fantastic and a nice crisp pattern being projectors and put in hids and they are fantastic back lights its totaly up to you there is a reasonable selection hope my ranting helps :D
