i dont wish to knock your sale but it would have sold better with the valves they must have been fitted at some stage as like you say it was fitted to a show car the person that buy this will have to spec up the valves then have then specially cut(3 angle profile i imagine ) to match the seat profile on this special head and then lap them in i was interested in the head but without the valves not a chance good luck with sale !!!
-
is it complete with the valves >??
-
normal route check plugs points leads sounds like your missing a cylinder
-
mmmm that would do it all the time wouldnt it ??? im kinda asking if anyone has had this exact same problem i thinking more inline with the dash clocks have got wet at some stage all thou its strange that it works fine on start up
-
i start the 60 and all the dash works fine rev and speedo but after about 10 mins of running the rev flciker then die and so does the speedo then the oil and water warning lights start flashing in time with road speed ie slow blinks when crawling and fast almost constant on when at speed i leave it all to go cold like the next day and everything fine again till like i run it for 10 mins strange one i know the car is off the road at the mo so it only gets started once a month and let to warm up to temp any ideas cheers stu ...

sparks replied to northernvr6's topic in Parts for Sale
yeah so much for youve got to use the buy it now button to get item you here entertaining different prices in thread how does that work we ethier use panjo or not !! -
o yeah ill comment alright as i have both replied to both private messages i feel i should also express my thoughts in open chat and maybe a mod with pick it up and do something about it firstly in the old days before this crappy panjo thing a pm in thread was all it took after that it was discussed in PMs now we have two systems which someone needs to state which system we are playing by because Pming someone then just cus i wasnt online for a day (like some people do have to work and i work nights so im not full of beans when most people are ) its get sold underneath me from the crappy panjo software **** too say im not happy is a understatement !!! while im happy to let said sale go though so saving messing both people about it need to state clearly which system we are using on the forum plus the fact i couldnt use the panjo system because it kept saying i was in the states (usa) which im clearly not looks like going to FK buying the grill directly (20.97 euros) and paying the postage from Germany i hate how this forum has gone with panjo cheers stu

bingo thats probly what it is good one !!!!

yeah your alternator been build wrong you should be looking for 13.5 to 14v coming out the alternator to be able to charge the battery check all parts and connections probly got a sticky bush
-

-
well let us know how it goes id be interested on a side note i had roughly the same problem with an old mini i changed the battery ,alternator but it turned out to merely be the alternator belt replaced with a new one problem gone cheers stu ..
-
also never run a car without the battery what comes out the alternator is not smooth DC it relies on the battery to smooth it like a capacitor disconnecting the battery allow all the spikes to go into your electrics which is not good for ecu's!!!!!
-
wuuh wuuh wuuh wuuh lets back it up abit here speaking from a electrical engineers point of view a alternator on tick over yes should put 14.6 volts out well anything above 1.5v of 12v or what every battery your are charging so you alternator is reading right on 14.6 v running all the electrics on tick over is not what its designed for i would say at least a rpm speed of 2500rpm then check the alternator at least give it a fighting chance modern engines actually increase base line rpm (800-900) to cope with this but corrados dont before you waste good money on a new alternator do the above check !!!! sounds to me like you have a duff battery and a slipping alternator belt which killed your battery fixing both will cure your problem cheers stu ...

yeah i spoke to jabbasport about couple of months ago they no longer do an R1 due to it doesnt produce as much as expected for the work involded plus its then a huge extra load on the 3 remaining supports so maybe they have also cut back on the porting as well to what does and doesnt work i agree with rustynuts my stage 4 looks nothing like yours on the back so yours could be a stage 4 plus as you state but at the end of the day we all know porting is a magical art get it wrong and its worst than standard good luck with sale thou every G60 owner needs a spare although a G75 does look very very nice
-
lol ebay only £350 corrado forum £400 ebay you pay fees corrado forum no fees somewhere this doesnt make sense
-
its not R1 more like a stage 4 R1 have only 3 splines on the back bearing exhaust support
-
maybe a common problem when they dont get used but both wing mirrors get stuck when trying to adjust them if i give them a prod they work but then dont work when i come back to them i think if i get at the mech and wd40 it it should cure it ?? but how to i get to it or any suggestions on a better fix ?grease or lube of some kind ?? cheers guys and girls stu ....
