if your a skilled engineer and ace at turning then yeah you could fab one but its going to be alot of grief you do know that you can buy one from £140 from ocd the £190 option is all the pipes and clips what you got to weigh up is a chunk of alloy turning it down boring it out your time and effort my 60 is sorn at mo so i could supply details but seems alot of hassle i could probly make one myself given the tools/machines infact i modded my rsr so it has blade cross memebers for better flow just saying !!

yeah mine was the same when i had cam work done tick over rough and only a small power band take it to someone good who knows about engines before damage is done mine was 80 degs out !!!!!

hi boys and girls ive got a werid one and like advice while looking at the C yesterday i notice that in the scuttle panel where the ecu and wiper motor is that the paint on the bottom which looks very thick there has cracked and im guessing letting in water underneath questions 1, will this let water into the car ?as im getting very bad mist up on windscreen 2, is it terminal and will it just rust away now 3, swg full scuttle panel and loads of wd40 sprayed in the cracks is that a fix 4, nothing to worry about all Cs do this cheers stu ..

it all depends on how you drive them drive them like a twat and not like the engine cool and your going to have problems drive it hard but sit on the drive letting things cool and oil get around and you will be fine remember when the little needle read 7000 rpm that's bad

got 170bhp at the wheels and was recommend by oilman on here to run 10/50w semi the old engines dont like fully synthetic plus 50w will go to 140 degs C before breakdown of oil

yeah same here before at 130mph (on a private road of course) id see 140 oil temp now on full chat with the oil cooler i see 130 and on run down it cools the oil alot quicker always use good oil thou cant recommend that enough i use 10w 50w silkoline from the oilman on here (thats his user name )he gives forum discount but its still £45 a pop
