Is there an easy way to remove the power steering resovoir/bottle on a 9a engine without draining the system?
-

That is really gutting. Hope the new owners look after it as much as you did. -
Great looking seats,I bet really, you were trying for ages to get the logo in the mirror ! :) Looks good without the handbrake gaiter too.
-
Can you fit the eibach one with the abs sensor wire?
-
Lao, Will I have to go in from underneath to get a nut on the other end of bolt thread?
-
Just found it strange as every other car I have had already had holes/ bolts there as that is how the suspension itself was fitted. Plus, it looks as though there were holes there but they have been filled and sprayed?
-
I have a front upper strut brace. When I lined it up on the struts there are no holes alread there? Should there be? Also, there is a bolt with a cable attatched to either strut but not in the place where the holes are on the brace. Has anyone fitted one? Did you just drill new holes?

What he said! :D Especially as the p.c.d adapters will make your wheels stick out at least an extra 15-20mm, meaning arch work will be needed if you have wide wheels.

Or, Venom motorsport do some.... http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufact ... el=Corrado

I don't blame you, it is apparently going to be -3 tonight! You would end up freezing your fingers to your struts!
-
Looking good! The respray looks great! Very envious of a job well done! :D The shocks look good too!
-
You want to be carefull of these windy days we have been having with all that weight loss!! Where did you get your polished air tube/ power rohr from? Is meant for a Corrado or a Mk2 Golf?
-
Brilliant! Thankyou soooo much!! You really have been a great help! :D

Wuhoo, the interior is in!!

Sunroof now fixed! How do i refit the sunroof lining? Do i leave motor disconncted? Leave roof down? Or on tilt?
-
That is soooooooo nice!!! I have just fitted a double din headunit, it has been a right hassel with the temp panel. But, that climatic mod looks loads better. You have to make some sort of frame inside the dashboard to support the double din unit. Mort as fitted that sat nav on the forum. He might know bout the climatic mod?!
-
Ahh right! I'm a real dip s##t! Just re-read your original explaination that says that quite clearly. Sorry! but Thankyou!
-
But, how do I re-align them? I have looked for the cables you mentioned at the front, but can only see what could be cable at the rear of the mechanisms.
-
Right, I have got the lining out the way. I have looked at the mechanism, but cannot see any cables at the front of the roof on either side? I have taken pics, can you show me where the cables are?!
-
Ok, thankyou. Sorry, just to clarify, will the sunroof liner move to the rear without having to remove all the headlining/ pillars etc?
-
Had my actual wheel arch extended out by 2 and a half inches either side. Which then meant I had to have my rear lower quaters and rear bumper extended out. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=76718&start=45 My front arches have been rolled a little but I want them doing more, so I am going to get arch enemy to do them for me.
-
When you say tilt it and slide the lining back. Do you meanslide the lining back into place or to the rear of the roof lining so it cannot be seen? If you mean that one, will it move back out the way when on tilt? I might give this a go tonight if it is not raining and still light when I finish work.

About £100 for headlining and sunroof headling in proper headlining material. Just had mine done and it's an amazing job. Only thing is you really have to dye/ spray the sunroof seal yourself.
