Traverse replied to CorradoRun's topic in Members Gallery
Looking good! It sounds mean in that video! -
I really wish we could get this over here... One of my wiper arms doesn't even touch my windscreen. :( I've tried bending it and everything.

There was a Corrado & breast fondling on RoadWars tonight!

I haven't gotten to do too much lately because of school, but i did get the chance to make it out to a couple of shows this weekend. The first was called "Ring In Spring," which was a local show mainly showing American muscle cars, but all cars were welcome. I was the only foreign (non-American) car there. The second was called Lowenbroke, which was a Euro car show. A few pics: These two were taken by someone else. And just a sneak peek at what's coming in the future: -
It looks great. The wheels compliment the color of the car nicely.

I have a relay in my rado that is bad for my spoiler. I keep trying to secure a new one on the 'tex and people keep sending me this. I've been told by numerous 'texers that the relay that goes under the dash and 'control module' are the exact same thing and are interchangeable. I looked at it today and can find no possible way that they would be interchangeable without redoing all of the wiring. My relay is on the right and the 'control module' is on the left. Now maybe I'm just retarded and I'm missing something, but how could these be interchangeable and/or the same thing?

It's not just the size of the beast but also the velocity of the vehicle that needs to be taken into consideration.... Yeah. The road it happened on was a 40mph zone, but knowing him the car was probably doing something around 70 or 80.
-
That would be nice.... I might have to look into that.
-
Yup, they are. That Corrado took the award for Best VW.

My friend was driving a MK2 and hit a squirrel and pulled his entire front lip off.

Looks great with the red. I think it would look even better with red tails though. -
I need a picture of a G60 without the supercharger silencer box... Anybody have one?
-
We had a show yesterday called Lowenbroke. Here's a bunch of shots from me and one of the local guys, just so you can see how the 'dub scene is over here. (^2-door Jetta) Those are just the highlights of mine... You can find the entire set here. I'm going to upload a bunch of shots one of the local guys took as soon as I get them resized.

Man, I'm glad we don't have so many big things wandering around like sheep. We have deer though, and those can do a number to your car, especially low ones. You hit them right about at the knee, then they fly back, over your hood and through your windshield.
-
Mine did this when my ISV was bad... I'd start there.
-
I think it looks great as it is. Maybe throw some darker rims on it and it's perfect. I had those headlights in my possession.... twice... The first set came broken, so they sent the second set and those were broken too.
-
I'd still rather have a good ol' F40.

My 16v Corrado.. Featured in this months (Jan 2010) PVW!

Gorgeous. I want to get headlights that look like those. -
I doubt all of yours are this retarded, but here overseas, if you want to put new speakers in it, upgrading from the stock you have to run completely new wires through the car because for whatever reason the original wires won't work on anything that wasn't original.
-
How many miles do you all have on your Corrados? Mine is just under 104k. Had 89k on it when I bought it last July
-
And even after that, mine still leaks! :gag: Electric windows on a rado still aren't 100% convenient because you have to wait for one to roll down all the way before you can roll the other down. Or at least that's how mine is

Embarassing. - My SOB Corrado story of the day

Haha, that happens later. If she wasn't on her way to class she would've been in in a heartbeat. Or so she says. -
Looks like you're off to a good start!
-
Sounds like a mighty nice find. Let's see some pics! x2 on the painted rear lights. Red ones never really do justice and just make it look ricer-ish, except in very, very rare occasions. Just for reference, here's my painted lights.

I'm pretty sure that the passenger (would be drivers side for you guys) wheel bearing on my Corrado has been going bad. So I ask you all this: Is the front passenger wheel bearing on a G60 interchangeable with a wheel bearing on any other VW? I'm guessing if it is it's a MK3...
