I bought my red corrado for one reason: When I was looking, it was the only rado that was affordable. I'd really much rather have a black one, mainly because I'm sick of owning red cars!! Yeah, yeah, ride height, I know

My G60 is at 1025xx and still pushing strong!

I took a long bolt and used two pieces of metal bent at 90 degrees and several nuts to create my own tensioner. I'll get a better picture of it next time I'm out.

Thanks for making me self-conscious! :( :D

Yeah, our weather is basically pretty much flatlined in accordance with the season.

^that's how the majority of the drive home was. This parking lot is kind of on the top of a valley, and the drive home went down into said valley.
-
I've seen that before somewhere. I definitely don't trust myself enough to try that.

We had an incredibly foggy night out here last Friday. I took these shots in the parking lot as I was on my way out of work at about 2:00 am. And just to show the intensity:

Do you get a warm feeling inside............

I love seeing another rado on the road. It's like when I'm driving my Porsche, normally other Porsche drivers will wave. Alot of the v-dub drivers out here do the same thing, regardless of wether its rado to rado or whatever. -
If you can find a solution to the spoiler please share it. I have the exact opposite of yours, or at least had it until it stopped working entirely  I second the weak suspension. It's possible that the bearing could be bad as well, both in the wheel and in the suspension, but I think if it was the suspension you would hear it more often than when you just had passengers in the back. I would also try to lift it up and spin the wheel by hand.

Besides your Corrado, what else do you drive? During the nice months of the year, like the spring or the summer, I'll normally be driving my 944, but it's not going to be here for much longer :( If my rado is out during the winter, I drive any of the following. 1985 Saab 900 2001 Saab 9-5 2002 Saab 9-3 2003 Saab 9-3

I feel your pain about lowering. Mine is still stock ride height (give or take a few cm's... 4x4 status FTW!!). I love the way your car's color and the wheel colors compliment each other. What is the paint code on the car? Nice rado and welcome to the forums :)

Thanks. We had almost two feet, but thankfully it was in the garage. As for the black/red look, I did like it because it gave it individuality, but it also made me feel extremely immature while driving it, as well as the flack I got from other drivers on the road (insults, etc). Eventually it's going to be completely two-toned, but until then I'm going to roll with it like this. I'm going to go out and get a few better pics of it tomorrow. -

I put a new suspension on her a few days ago, but it didn't lower it too much. I also got the original hood and spoiler out and put it back on. I'll clean it up and take better pics of it once the snow goes away. I'm also preparing to repaint the wheels. -
I love these things if they're on my car, but when they're on someone elses I hate them. I've almost gone off the road because they're so blinding before.

We pulled apart my fogs to try to get those working. Well, I put everything back together today, and now my stereo won't turn off, even with the button on it or the ignition on the car, and when I go to start it all that I get is a clicking noise when it should be turning over. I checked my battery and it's showing a good 12.53v. I need my car in the next few hours, so any answers are much appreciated...

I'm waiting for my g-lader kit. But today I put my new suspension and the original hood/spoiler back on.

I've been around cars and machinery for most of my life. I've learned my father who learned from his father, and while none of us have them as a chosen profession we all enjoy working on them. I just love the pride I get from making a car better than it was.

Thanks guys. I already ordered the kit so I'm committed already

I'm actually thinking about painting mine in the next few weeks, but I'll have the charger out so I'm going to paint that at the same time
-
If I copied you guys and named mine after my plate, I would get some weird name. I'm not even sure if you can make something out of EFG? Before I got mine I was looking at buying a classic Opel GT, and the girl I was dating at the time was nicknamed Red (long story ). I was joking and told her that if I got another red car I'd name it Red because I thought it was sweet. We broke up and about 7 months later I got my C, and still for some stupid reason ended up naming it Red. The Porsche is just The Porsche.

My G-lader is at the point where it's blowing more oil than it should through the seals, so I'm going to rebuild it when I'm on spring break next week. Unfortunately I'm doing it myself because I can't afford to have it out for several weeks while I wait for it to get rebuilt. I've heard there are small springs in it. The big thing I'm worried about with those is if they're going to jump out and me and if I have to re-tension them when I put it back together. Does anybody have any experience with this? For reference, this is the guide I'm using: link

The second picture is where the arm rest attaches to. I'm not sure about the fasteners for the first picture.

I know we all name our cars  I searched for a thread bout this already but didn't find one, so I thought I'd start it. What did everyone name theirs? Mine somehow adopted 'Red' as its name.
